I really like this sprayer. It's an amazing deal for the money. I had to buy two because I ruined the first one on its first use by allowing water to get into the air intake vents at the back of the power unit. I'm calling the power unit the back half of the sprayer where you connect the battery. I think one should separate the power unit from the spray unit in the front as soon as you've finished spraying. I was spraying water based polyurethane and was, of course, cleaning the gun with water. So, with this second purchase, I separated the power unit and disassembled the spray unit and washed all the parts off with water. The other thing is to screw the trigger limiter almost to no movement when first using the sprayer. It has sufficient power in the fan to output a huge amount of material. So, start small and increase the trigger movement as needed.

Bought this for touch-ups and a few small furniture projects. Setup was quick and the spray came out very even once I dialed in the nozzle — three spray patterns made switching between edges and flat surfaces easy. It handled latex primer and satin paint well (I thinned the heavier paints slightly), and cleanup was straightforward — unscrew the cup, rinse, and wipe the tip. Note: the kit I received didn’t include a battery, so you’ll need a compatible battery or a drill-adapter to run it. For the price it’s a great little sprayer for doors, cabinets, and accent pieces — not a replacement for a professional system, but perfect for DIYers.
