    • Used to remove lug nut on '97 F250HD with reasonable ease.
I say reasonable ease, as there is a very small button on the bottom of the tool, to adjust you desired torque setting, L M H. This button is very small and kind of tough to engage, so a couple nuts that took some "hammering" on to loosen, I think I was actually in the low mode. By the time I got to my forth tire of removing summers and installing winters, I kind of got the hang of setting the torque setting. I really wish the bottom was more substantial and perhaps located in a spot on the tool that wouldn't get accidentally pressed when gripping the tool. I highly recommend reading and saving for reference the manual about the button. There is also a setting that brakes the tool if you get a high speed runaway, lol. You know what I am talking about if you ever had a pneumatic impact spin a nut off so fast it throws the nut and sometimes the socket. Murphy's law dictates that it must got in the direction of your face or perhaps toward a bare hand nearby. It never goes any of the other 355 degree locations possible, lol. Anyway, in my case I found it annoying as my lug studs are about 3inches long so once free, the nut comes off easily and the tool kept braking to slow the tool. Just to get the nut all the way off the tool needed to be restarted 2-3 times. Again once I went back to the manual, I found the method to turn this off. The tool overall is quite large, and has some reasonable heft to it. In the old days that meant it was quality made, not sure if that still applies, but that was the theory. The case is decent, though the foam cutouts could be a bit better. There are several snag spots. I have a tool to melt that stuff so will trim a bit. Lastly there are two batteries, that is awesome as some of the "knock-off" tools only come with one and additional batteries can be tough to find. I removed and installed 4 tire and the battery indicated still 2/3 or more full. I like the tool with the exception of the mode/torque button. ... show more

My husband loves to fix cars. The other day, he pulled this out because he needed to do something to the timing belt. He said it has a good feel and good power. We charged up both batteries just in case, but that took a while. The tool is relatively lightweight and I love that it came with so many attachments. The light is great and allows him to work a little in the dark. It's a little noisy, but that is to be expected. This drill is comparable to higher priced drills that do the same thing, but has been reliable for his work and at I price I'm happy with. This is handy for anyone who needs to do home repair, car repair or general fixes. Hopefully, it lasts as long as I hope, but so far so good. ... show more

This is a great deal torque drill. Great price and quality for home mechanics. Great for wheels, not sure if its powerful enough for the crank but definitely for wheels and other suspension parts. For the price its a decent gun.

It can hang with my Milwaukee... but it cannot hang with my Dewalt! Straight up it's a great tool to have on hand! It practically a cheap Milwaukee as it's just as good as ours. I definitely see the guys using this in the shop often. I would recommend this impact if you are on a Budget. It will definitely get the job done for you! Includes: Hard Case, Battery Charger, (2) Batteries, an extension, & a handful of sockets. Ita definitely worth the price I can tell you that! And so far it's taken a beating & gets its use here at our shop! I just hope its here to stay for awhile. ... show more
