I have tried conair, dyson and now this Zarvarea. The conair was junk, the dyson was crazy expensive and pulled at my hair (DYSON-TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT) and this cheap thing, compared to the dyson, was far better. Feels sturdy/well made and has only a slight pull on hair if not placed right. The charge lasts a few times for me. It is great to travel with and love that I can take it on the plane with me in airplane mode. Very happy that I tried this. The only things that could be improved is having zero pull like a ghd(corded) and heating up a bit more. I have a hard time believing it gets to 450°. However, still straightens great. Just have to pass through my hair a few more times then I would with a really good corded straightner. Overall great value for the low price!! ... show more

Does it do the job,yes. However it says 450 but it certainly isn't 450 as I can basically hold the hair where I plug in straightener I can't hold the hair at 350. It does heat enough to straighten my wavy/curly hair and the portability of it is a plus. If it wasn't for that I would just use a regular plug in one. ... show more

1st one I ordered never would work (it wouldnt charge or turn on) so I requested a replacement and sent it back. I recieved the 2nd one and it is extremely heavy, doesnt hold a charge well and takes forever to charge it. Its not user friendly and styling the hair is very difficult with this. I have sent the second one back as well and am still waiting on my refund which has been a while. Save ur time and money and dont order. ... show more
