This powered ratchet is excellent! The size is great for getting to most bolts/nuts. The batteries hold a charge and charge up fast. The speed is perfect. Getting the bag and sockets was a nice bonus. I would recommend this kit to any DIY mechanic. Good quality tool for the price.

I've wanted one of these tools for years, just didn't want to spend too much for it. When I saw this particular tool with the 2 batteries and case, I figured that I'd give it a try. This is the first time I've used an electric ratchet, so I don't have anything to compare it to except for my Kobalt impact driver. I believe that this tool is rated for 40lbs. of torque so it may not get the really tight bolts and nuts off, but I just loosen them first by hand, then use this tool for the rest. I tell you; this thing really saves time and effort. I used it to disassemble a car engine and it really sped things up. Due to the size, you can fit it into places that you can't really fit an impact driver but it still is much bigger than a manual ratchet or wrench so you may have to use extensions to get fit. This electric ratchet feels solid and weighs about 4lbs. I've used it a handful of times and never completely ran out of battery, I just charge it when I'm finished. I'm sure if you are doing a big job, you'll need to switch batteries. The case and the set of sockets is a nice plus too. I already have all of the socket sizes included in this kit but who can't use another set? I can't really speak about how long this tool can and will last but so far, I am thoroughly impressed. Let me start off by saying this is my first Kimo tool. I was very skeptical of the performance I would get at this price point from a brand I have never heard of. But as a DIYer with a family i could not justify the price of some of the other brands.. So lets get started.. It comes in a nice plastic case with TWO 2.0 Ah 12v max lithium batteries! A charger and seven 6 point metric sockets (10.11.12.13.14.15.17) and one 3/8 to 1/4 drive adapter. Now the features! Its pretty light just over 2 pounds with battery. The forward and reverse toggle is easy to use. The variable speed paddle switch is great! I love being able to choose how fast the tool is operating. Its also easy the manipulate the paddle switch (i grip the ratchet high and operate the switch with my pinky finger). The fit and finish far exceeded my expectations it is very comfortable to hold and use. It has a LED light that for me kind of falls short. I would definitely like it to be brighter but it is bright enough to see the bolt head so it works. The 2.0 Ah batteries work great. I have put both batteries through multiple charging cycles and have preformed great. Battery life is pretty respectable and the paddle switch lock will definitely help with that. As the lock will prevent accidentally engaging the paddle switch in your tool box or bag! The fuel gauge is handy and easy to read with green yellow red lighting. It is rated at 40 foot pounds of torque. That is plenty for the use case for an electric ratchet. This is not an impact so if you are expecting that kind of performance you will be let down with any electric ratchet. This Kimo electric ratchet has been handling tightening and loosening all the bolts i have thrown at it! My only real con for this tool is it only spins at 400 revolutions a minute without a load. I would like if it would rotate faster. Bottom line is don't sleep on Kimo like I did. I am extremely satisfied with this electric ratchet and would recommend it to anyone. ... show more

I bought this 3 years ago, and I’m a mechanic who uses this daily. I really expected this to last a year at best, and if it did I would’ve been happy. To my surprise this lasted 3 years. Batteries last what feels like forever, and because they give you two, you’ll always have a charged battery. The other day I went to go break loose a sturdy bolt and the 3/8 adapter part broke. After 3 years of daily abuse, I bought a replacement. If you’re looking for an electric ratchet I would recommend this one. ... show more
