Bought this tool a little over 5 years ago. I do almost all of my own car maintenance for an 06 Accord. This tool has been amazing for the price. Came with the ratchet, two batteries, and the charger plus an easily stored case for it all. Writing this review because I finally experienced my first failure. One of the batteries won’t power the ratchet anymore. Not sure what happened as it was working when I last used it. Ratchet still works fine, as does the other battery. I’ve never run out of charge on a battery on any of the jobs I’ve done since I’ve had the tool so no big deal. Batteries charge fast. Reviewers on YouTube like to crap on this tool, but tbh it’s great for the money. I’ll likely be buying another pair of 12v KIMO batteries for the tool for 30$ rather than buy in to a different tool ecosystem, or maybe the 40$ kit that comes with a brand new ratchet and another battery and keep the using the new ratchet on standby. It’s so cheap so why not. 30-40$ every 5 years is well worth it IMO. Highly recommend getting the tool with the case initially though. It just makes it easy to store

I'm a maintenance man, I use this in an industrial setting, it has never gave me issues. The battery is good, does seem to lose power before the battery indicates low battery. But charge in less than 1 hour. Torque is about 30 to 40lbs depending on bolt size and battery status. Work in bread factory it sees plenty of dust and small particles, no issues.

First of all, this tool definitely makes auto repairs easier then without it. I've had this now for several months and I have used it to change a water pump & thermostat on a Nissan, front end work on my Honda Odyssey, oil changes on my Infinity due to the skid-plate having 14 bolts to remove to access the oil pan& filter, and recently a starter on my sons Toyota 4runner requiring a skid plate removal. I'm not a professional mechanic but I've been doing my own car maintenance for many many years. I've done several involved repairs over the years and one thing that always bothered me was having to "slowly ratchet" nuts and bolts to access the repair component. I also watch lots of auto repair videos, love-em. I was watching a repair one day and saw a person using a power ratchet like the Kimo. So I said, "I'm getting one of those". I did my research as I always do for determining quality, past reviews and how it will help me if I use it. Back to the item review. The tool kit meets my "How will it help me" list. It is organized in its case and easy to use with different sockets. The tool feels heavy enough in your hands to feel good using it to torque down bolts. I break loose any nuts or bolts first and use the tool for its ease and speed. This is especially helpful in tight places where a ratchet is hard to use due to limited space. The torque on the tool is enough that you can reasonably tighten down on a nut or bolt, but follow up with the needed torque spec if needed using hand tightening. I've owned and used dozens of power tools while owning a remodeling business for 20 years. I've used high end brands and middle of the road brands, and cheap brands. I usually prefer middle to high end for tool quality and longevity. That being said, this tool is well made, is powerful for a DIY person, and comes with a good battery and awesome storage case. It has made car repairs much easier for me 100% and the price didn't break the bank. Also, my neighbors and a few friends who have seen my tools set up, they always ask, "Hey whats in the cool green case?". When I showed them, they all said "I should get one of these". So if your considering one of these, this one is a great choice, a 10 out of 10 for me! Good luck and remember don't pay someone to do something for you that you can do better yourself! DIY-Dave

This seems like a pretty well built unit. Came as described, everything included. Ordered a set of two extra batteries too. The wrench, sockets, battery, charger, and wrench all come loose in a box. Would be nice if they included even a cheap cloth drawstring bag. Day after I received these I see they have the unit with a case and two batteries marked down about $12, this made the cased unit a better buy compared to what I had bought plus two batteries. I ordered the kit with the case and returned the items I'd originally bought. I'll leave a review for the cased unit once I try it out.

i do car repairs myself at home garage and wanted to upgrade my tool set. i been manually removing bolts with my wrench and needed something faster. i found this cordless ratchet for a good budget friendly price and tried it. it comes with two batteries, already fully charged, also a bag to keep everything organized. it’s very powerful. there’s a small switch that you turn on the head of it to change it from forward to reverse. the colors are nice and unique too. i highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quality item and affordable pricing!
