First of all, this tool definitely makes auto repairs easier then without it. I've had this now for several months and I have used it to change a water pump & thermostat on a Nissan, front end work on my Honda Odyssey, oil changes on my Infinity due to the skid-plate having 14 bolts to remove to access the oil pan& filter, and recently a starter on my sons Toyota 4runner requiring a skid plate removal. I'm not a professional mechanic but I've been doing my own car maintenance for many many years. I've done several involved repairs over the years and one thing that always bothered me was having to "slowly ratchet" nuts and bolts to access the repair component. I also watch lots of auto repair videos, love-em. I was watching a repair one day and saw a person using a power ratchet like the Kimo. So I said, "I'm getting one of those". I did my research as I always do for determining quality, past reviews and how it will help me if I use it. Back to the item review. The tool kit meets my "How will it help me" list. It is organized in its case and easy to use with different sockets. The tool feels heavy enough in your hands to feel good using it to torque down bolts. I break loose any nuts or bolts first and use the tool for its ease and speed. This is especially helpful in tight places where a ratchet is hard to use due to limited space. The torque on the tool is enough that you can reasonably tighten down on a nut or bolt, but follow up with the needed torque spec if needed using hand tightening. I've owned and used dozens of power tools while owning a remodeling business for 20 years. I've used high end brands and middle of the road brands, and cheap brands. I usually prefer middle to high end for tool quality and longevity. That being said, this tool is well made, is powerful for a DIY person, and comes with a good battery and awesome storage case. It has made car repairs much easier for me 100% and the price didn't break the bank. Also, my neighbors and a few friends who have seen my tools set up, they always ask, "Hey whats in the cool green case?". When I showed them, they all said "I should get one of these". So if your considering one of these, this one is a great choice, a 10 out of 10 for me! Good luck and remember don't pay someone to do something for you that you can do better yourself! DIY-Dave

I purchased this electric ratchet in April 2023. It comes with a 2 year warranty. It is July 2025 today, 3 months out of warranty, and it has suddenly stopped working to the left (to loosen something). It runs, but it is as if those gears are stripped. That's a bummer, but I must say I loved it. It makes working on stuff SO much faster, especially on really long bolts or nuts that you can get a ratchet on, but there is only 1 inch of room to turn the handle. It comes with two batteries which is good, but one last me months and months, and I used it a lot. I'm not a mechanic by trade or anything, just an average do-it-yourselfer on home and auto. (Maybe the seller will see this and give me deal on a new one, just the ratchet and not the attachments or batteries, please :) I gotta have another; I'm not going back to a regular ratchet.)

This 12V cordless electric ratchet is excellent! It’s very powerful and handled everything I needed. I used it to completely disassemble a Volvo XC90, and it easily managed all the bolts. It’s a lesser-known brand, but the quality and performance are outstanding. Highly recommended for anyone needing a strong, reliable ratchet!

A socket wrench saves time over a regular wrench. This tool saves way more time than a socket wrench. If time is money this tool is worth its weight in gold. I only do pretty light jobs like oil changes but I have also used this tool for a radiator replacement and waterpump/timing belt job, sway bar bushings, all that fun stuff. I dont use this tool as a breaker bar, and the ergonomics don't really lend to that either, but im definitely not nice to it. If a bolt is tight I usually smack the body of this tool to break it loose then zap it off with the trigger. Its not mind blowing speed but like another user said its trading outright speed for useful torque to turn stiff bolts. And I mean stiff. I was going to get the bolt running through the sway bar bushing out with a hammer and punch once I got the 19mm pinch nut off, but instead I zapped it with this thing and it turned the bolt right out. For 45 bucks, im honestly amazed.
