  • Good quality, long battery life, good fastener torque and durable.
Style: 1) 12V- 3/8"-2 Batteries
OMG what a surprise! I watched the videos for most of these Chinese ratchets not expecting much. I needed this tool for occasional maintenance. First thing I was worried about was the ratchet head. When I saw the video this ratchet seemed more solid than other models I viewed. I read all of the reviews and this one had the most positive posts. Now I am a legacy mechanic or more than 40 years in the field off and on. Suffice to say I am a little bit picky. See, these cheaper no brand name Chinese ratchets are sold all over and many of them just can't handle the stress of constant use. You know this when you buy one. So as a former mechanic with a tool box full of Snap-On tools I wasn't expecting much. This is where the surprise comes in. I bought this tool for a specific job. My sons 2001 Chevy 1500 crew cab. We did an engine swap for another 5.3 engine. We used this ratchet through the entire job and it took one full day to run the battery down. Fortunately I had the foresight to buy a ratchet with 2 batteries. Three days later with alterations made to the new engine we finished. The Ratchet. Dirty, rained on and STILL kickin butt. Now for the performance. Break away torque is quite good. No need to spin up the ratchet first. But the surprise is fastener torque. Spin the bolt/nut and let her rip. Normal objects tighten without any need to apply more torque. This ratchet spins slower than some but the result is better torque. After cleanup and putting it back in the case my opinion is that this tool is more than adequate for any mechanical job. Would I use it in a commercial shop? No. Most shop based battery driven mechanic tools are built tough for good reason. Daily use is far too demanding for a tool such as this and it is a brush driven motor which makes it a fire hazard in fuel based repairs. But for everything else it is a fine ratchet for home use with a good, long lasting set of batteries with a fast charge rate. For the home shop this baby is a clear winner at half the price of name brand tools. I LIKE IT! ... show more

  • Awesome Company
Style: 1) 12V- 3/8"-2 Batteries
This is a good 12v ratchet. Battery has a good amount of run time. I had a issue with the ratchet not having any torque after about 30 days of use. I contacted Kimo about the issue and they sent me a replacement that arrived today. Excellent customer support after the sale. Since they took care of it under warranty. The replacement arrived today, so I purchased the extended 12v ratchet just now. Highly recommended to buy from them if you need power tools. ... show more

  • Totally Werch It
Style: 3/8" 89Ft-lbs 2 Batteries
I have old cars and it doesn’t make sense for me to have them professionally repaired and maintained anymore, so I take care of them myself now. But being a bit older and not spry and powerful as I used be in my youth it would have been nice to have a tool that could loosen and turn nuts and bolts quickly without so much physical strain for me. I’ve heard of them; mechanics use them in their shops but they seem to be driven by air. If only they made something with a battery that wasn’t bulky and have a tangle of power cords to deal with or require a giant air compressor to run…but wait, I think I found it here. A Cordless Ratchet Wrench…wow, lets get this thing and try it. A couple of short days later it arrives; I open the ubiquitous outer shipping box but the inner product box with the tool seems off. It’s not a Cordless Ratchet Wrench, but a Cordless Rachet Werch. Who knew? I got a Werch, that has to be even better! So I open the box and look at the contents, but alas, it seems I was shipped a used Werch. Everything carelessly thrown back in the handy Werch bag, including a set of drill bits that don’t belong to this genius tool, and missing one of the attachments that do belong to this tool making this all the more werchless. Clearly dirty and clearly used, then returned. I bought what I thought was a new product so this was not werch it. So I processed an exchange rather than a complete return, hoping to get my money’s werch out of this purchase because I was intrigued by the thought of owning a Werch. As I go to pack it up, my daughter asks me “What’s a werch?” So I explained the original intent of the device and how some engineer in a far away land took a tool originally called a Wrench and made it even better and evolved it; and them some marketing guru and a brilliant packaging specialist decided to rename it, ordering thousands of packing boxes with the new device name, the innovative Werch. She nods her head seemingly understanding and says she is sorry that it didn’t’ turn out the way I wanted and she was sad that I had to go werch-less. But I reassured her, that I would get a replacement the very next day and it was werch the wait. And I did. And this time, it was a new Werch. Everything was there, everything worked; I was no longer werch-less. Now, I haven’t used it yet. I will very soon. But I have high hopes that the experience will be totally werch it. ... show more

  • High torque make it more useful
Style: 3/8" 89Ft-lbs 2 Batteries
This ratchet is very powerful and I use it every day repairing forklifts. The batteries last a long time. The high torque is very useful as even 8mm bolts would not break loose with a lower torque ratchet.

  • Powerful, and easy to use and charge
Style: 1) 12V- 3/8"-2 Batteries
Works great plenty of torque and reasonably fast. Very handy. No need for an air hose or electric cord. Battery appears to be sufficient for every job I have used it on

  • Very very very useful.
Style: 1) 12V- 3/8"-2 Batteries
This does make the job easier. I am not gonna sit here and say it’s my favourite because I haven’t tested all of them . I use it for car repairs. Don’t put the wrong sockets on it. In fact feel free to read the directions, my only issue is one of the batteries though it works it’s latch was broken but I didn’t know as it was my first time using the tool other than that it makes getting work done on the vehicle easy peazy lemon squeezy. I will still give it five stars easy to use perfect for projects and everyone can use this tool. ... show more

  • Good but not very powerful
Style: 3/8" 89Ft-lbs 2 Batteries
Helps speed things up once the nut has been loosened but not powerfully enough to get the job done on its own.
