This was a total hail mary for me. Not needed, just picked up on a whim. Had some scratches in some furniture and a project car that I have been working on that I said "what the heck" and thought I'd get into some detailing of it myself. It is a non brand-name, so I wasn't sure about how it would work or even if it would be effective, but it does and it has been. Excellent! It was ready out of the box... both batteries came charged. No waiting for a charge before you can use it. It has dual-axis rotation so the polishing action is smooth and effective. Leaves a shine without swirl marks. Clear LED display: Easy to see speed settings. Powers on with a button hold, cycles speeds with a push. Why I grabbed it was because it is an all-in-one kit. This is just a hobby for me, so investing in something here and then something there would have been a piece-meal waste of time. This has buffing pads, bonnets, gloves, apron, extra battery, and a carrying bag included. You can't decrease speed once you go up. Must turn off and restart from 1. Doesn't save the last setting. Not the best is that there is no battery indicator. There's no LED on the batteries themselves. You won't know it's low until it dies. Charger LED: Shows green when no battery is attached. Can be misleading if you're not paying attention. Sanding discs: Only 240 grit included. Odd that they didn't include a range if they're selling a complete kit. The storage bag is cheap and too small. Will have to find another way to do so or just use the box. Bottom line: This is a decent cordless buffer at a good price. It's not high-end, but it's not a toy either. If you want a workable cordless buffer without dragging a cable around, this is it. The dual batteries let you keep working while one charges. Just don't expect premium build quality on the accessories. Highly recommended for the price. Enjoy!

The media could not be loaded. We received the polisher in a timely manner. It included all the needed supplies, including gloves, apron, buffing pads, and bonnets, as well as a fully charged polisher with an extra battery. We used the polisher to wax and buff our kitchen table and were impressed with the job it did. It left our table shining! There was a scratched area in the table before we started, and after finishing the polishing job, we noticed a marked improvement in this spot. It was not nearly as noticeable as before.

Not built like my Porter Cable but not a toy either. It's a very useable cordless random orbit buffer unlike some of the other less expensive attempts that I've seen. Yeah, some of the labels likely are going to fall off. The storage bag is kind of cheap and too small (won't use it anyway). Pads and bonnets aren't the greatest but useable. And they do give you a bunch. Backing pad seems reasonably well made. A little more stiff than I like. But, all in all, it's an OK kit and the unit itself actually is pretty good. Very comfortable in hand and easy to control. Relatively light at ~3 lbs (Porter Cable is 5+). Really is nice not to have to drag a cable around and tend it to keep it off of things. Simple to use. Hold the button to power on/off. Push the power button again to step up speed. Good range of speeds and has some guts to it. Haven't figured out how to go down in power once you go up. Don't think that you can. You have to turn off and come back up from 1 again. Doesn't save the last speed when turned off. It's threaded 5/16-24 so lots of options as far as backing pads. A 3" will work but the housing is so big around it that you need to be careful. My biggest questions are about the batteries and charging. The charger feels like there's nothing inside of the case. But it does work. Batteries are kind of similar. Doesn't feel like there's much to them. But again they do work. Charging speed isn't what I'd call rapid but doesn't take forever either. They caution against leaving batteries on the charger too long which doesn't give a lot of confidence that there's much if any kind of battery management built in. The charger shows a green light when charged. As far as run time/capacity goes, using both batteries I was able to do a light fast polish on my F150 including some scratch correction without a problem. Still had some left in the second battery. Doing a better job, I'd go through both for sure. I don't have any Makita batteries which it's supposed to be able to use to test. May have to look into that more. On the whole, I like it. It's a decent workable cordless buffer and a good value for the price.
