This is a nice, value priced automotive buffer kit for the home user. It has a full complement of pads and two batteries, which allows most of us to be able to fully detail a passenger car at home. I didn't have any cars needing detailing at the. moment because I just took care of my cars before having a chance to review this unit. So, I took on a couple of other tasks that I thought stressed the tool enough that I can be confident of its performance. The first task was to put on one of the sanding disks that came with it and go after a piece of my redwood gate. As you can see from the video, it works about like a purpose built sander. I would note that the kit comes with 240 grit, which is too coarse for most of what us home users would need. Most car work I've done, on the finish anyways, uses 1000 grit and higher. As you can see from the video I uploaded, the tool is powerful enough to use on outdoor sanding tasks. I would not make a habit of this as I just did it to see if it would be powerful enough and if the elliptical orbit of the pad would help aggressively sand the weathered wood. It turns out, it worked well even with 240 grit, which is far too fine for what I was doing. Anyways, good power and good action on the random orbit. The photos I uploaded show a stainless steel drip pan from my Breville counter top oven (ie. fancy expensive toaster oven). Since the Breville uses radiant heat to cook fast and evenly, keeping the drip pan shiny is a big deal. I didn't take the time to make mine perfect, but I was pleased with how well it did turn out. The wool pad plus rubbing compound (initially), followed by metal polish (final buff) worked out well and gave me back that last bit of efficiency I had lost to the dulling surface of the pan. I felt that the buffer was powerful enough to get the tasks done. I feel that both of these jobs are harder on the tool than the normal detailing job, or at least equal. The handle is easy to keep a grip on and the vibration is not bad at all. I like the completeness of this kit, which includes a usable carry bag. I don't love the charging system, which is a barrel plug straight into the batteries. I prefer a separate charger cradle like in most 18-20v tools. That said, the price is good enough I can forego that issue. The one negative that causes me to take off one star is that the LED display washes out completely in the sun. Since car detailing is often done outdoors, I don't see how this is OK. I can live with it, but I'd think the makers would have considered making the display a display that can be used outside would have been a priority. Overall, because of the price-performance I give this unit a solid 4 star rating. I like it and would get another one after this one dies.

I've used this cordless polisher for a week now. It has completely changed my car-polishing routine; before, I had a corded buffer that was one speed only. Not dragging extension cords around is amazing. The machine feels incredibly well balanced. It did not cause any wrist fatigue. The 8 speed settings offer excellent control. I easily switched speeds on the fly with the up-down speed selector. It also looks like it would also make a good sander. I have not tried that feature yet, though. The dual 21V batteries are a lifesaver. I charge one while using the other. The LED display is bright and clear. I also love the included storage bag. It keeps the kit neatly organized. The apron and gloves feel cheap. They fit too tightly for me. I will use my own next time. Overall, it is a fantastic budget tool. That will work for occasional use.

Great polisher to have around to help detail the vehicles. The batteries say they take 2 hours to charge but mine were faster than that. The fact you get two is great, I just hope the other can charger up in time to switch out on larger jobs. Super light weight and well balanced. Comes with so many different pads, of course each has their use. The flexibility with 8 speeds to go from waxing to scratch removal is great. The controls are easy to use and the screen lets you know your speed and battery life.

I've tried corded polishers and cheaper battery-powered ones and this ATOMERIS cordless buffer is a step above. The dual 2000mAh batteries mean I can do a full car without stopping to recharge — just swap the battery and keep going. The 8-speed setting gives you real control whether you're doing a light polish or working out deeper scratches. The LED display is helpful for tracking speed and battery level. The 18-piece kit is genuinely useful and covers everything from foam pads to microfiber towels. My car looks like it just came out of a detailing shop. Really impressed.

This buffer polisher comes with 2 batteries and a charger. It has a surprising amount of power. This is my first cordless buffer, and it is so nice to be free of a cord while buffing. The battery charger has a red light during charge and it turns green when the battery is fully charged up. The buffer has 8 speeds. It has a digital display showing the speed and the battery level. The battery takes a bit of effort to fully snap onto the tool, but this ensures it will not vibrate off during use. It comes with a variety of buffing pads and covers, including some sand paper disks if you need to sand something. The head easily unscrews with included wrench. The buffer is fairly quiet during operation (see my vid). The design of the body makes it very comfortable to grip. The pad side is perfect for car buffing, so you can get into tight spaces to get a mirror finish. This buffer is great value for the price point and a real time saver. I am very happy with it so far.
