This product only worked for a few minutes then would not start again. I tried several batteries which were all good with no luck. I put it away for a month or so and tried again with no luck. I should have returned it immediately. Don’t buy this thing.

Dewalt batteries were tight, but worked well. I used it on several items already and the oscillator is working flawlessly. Do not hesitate, you won't be disappointed. I've buffed Chrome, porcelain, and glass with Polarshine. Did not deplete the battery and is quiet. The handle is quite large and may require a bit tighter grip or larger hands to maneuver this well, but was not a big deal. ... show more

Dont buy this product for the extras that are included. It is very well built (doesnt feel like cheap plastic). Also the Dewalt batteries fit real snug so they defintiley will not fall out, i assume after break in time the battery will snap in easier(will update after multiple uses). The power button is also how you change the variable speeds. As for the throw its about 12mm. Any 6'' hook and loop pad will fit. Be aware it does not include its own battery. Has 6 speeds, and shows battery strength on the handle, which makes it easy to choose the right speed for polishing and buffing. It's about a 6" pad, so may not be the best for doing your whole car as it could take a lot of time to cover the car, but for quick clean-ups on smaller objects, it works really well. In conclusion i rated it 4 stars, after i put it through the ringer i will either rate it 5 or accordingly. ... show more
