The media could not be loaded. I had an older nail gun that had to use a compressor. It was a pain carrying the compressor around. For this privacy screen I was making in my condo (see video), it would have been very difficult to carry the compressor around and navigate the hose and have the compressor connected to an outlet and how to squeeze it through the tight areas. I can’t imagine doing this project with it. This cordless nail gun made it a lot easier. Other benefits I noted: - The instruction manual was A LOT less wordy than my previous one (see image). It used a lot more images and a lot less wordy paragraphs, which I really appreciated because it makes it very easy to read through before you use it. When it’s super wordy, sometimes I get overwhelmed and will delay working on a project until I feel like reading through all the paragraphs. - Most nail guns have the contact safety (thing you push against surface that allows you to pull the trigger), but this one has a light indicator. So you will see a little light when it’s pushed, which I thought was a nice addition. - It has a clip that you attach that could be used to put it on a tool belt or something while you are working. - Easier maintenance - for my old one, you had to put oil into it every now and then to prevent it from jamming. This one doesn’t have anything about that. Potential cons: - Does not come in a case. My old nail gun came in a case so you could keep the nails, instructions, etc all together. It would be nice to have a case for this so you could keep the battery with it. - It would be easier to accidentally trigger with this vs one with a compressor. For the compressor ones, I know that after I have disconnected it and I’m not worried about it going off when I’m putting it away. For this one, I would want to disconnect the battery when storing it just to be safe and again there is no case, so it won’t be easy to keep it together if it’s disconnected. Overall, I really liked it. I think if you don’t need a compressor for other things, this is a better option and a very good choice, even for beginners!

New updates: I would seriously consider not buying this.. After getting new battery and charger set, it was working for one time and the battery stopped working again... It was staying in warm house and it was not fully discharged before we tried to charge it again. We are so upset because our house project was delayed due to this nail gun issue (twice). We ended up buying $100 air compressor nail gun and $100 air compressor separately to finish the project. It's much better and powerful than the electric cordless nail gun. Trust me. I really should have bought the air compressor one from the beginning. I tried to save $100 but ended up spending $300... It's too late to return through Amazon and we are tired of sending videos to seller to receive a new battery. -------------------------- Review updates: I contacted the seller and sent the video and pictures of malfunctioning battery and they sent me new battery and charger that are working within few days. Good customer service! -------------------------- I bought this in March 2022 and used one time. I pulled it out to use it again in Nov 2022 and the battery is not charging and giving two red and green blinking error. I see similar reviews on this problem. They all said it's expensive to buy new battery or charger so I will just throw it away and buy another brand. Total waste of money..

It's rare that I buy something and truly love it, but this is one of those. I do a lot of little DIY work around the house and got tired of dragging out my heavy, noisy air compressor whenever I wanted to tack some stuff together. You never know how well a cordless tool is going to work, but I am quite amazed at how good a job this thing does. Pros: Works $*#&ing awesome! I particularly love the staples. Drives brads and staples through everything I've thrown at is so far, from hardwood to Hardy board. Cons: 1. Damn heavy! 2. Not instant nailing like with an air gun. I think there's a very heavy spring the motor winds up then releases to drive the nails. Takes about 1-1.5 seconds from trigger pull to drive. 3. The safety switch can be very picky and the only real issue I have with it. Overall, one of the few tools I'm really glad I bought. So convenient and just plain works.

Received this nail gun yesterday evening. The item looks great and feels sturdy though a bit heavy. I don't mind the heaviness but I what I do mind is weakness of the guns power to push the nail even close to flush with surface of material. Using on white pine the gun cannot set a 3/4" nail below the surface. It is a useless tool if every nail has to be hand set. I've had air nailers most of my career as a carpenter and also used Paslode nailers and never had a problem unless they needed a good oiling and cleaning. Because of my age I felt a cheaper gun would be fine for the small jobs I do now. I was wrong I should have spent a little more money and bought a well known brand. So if you want to nail a marshmallow to a piece of cardboard this is the gun for you otherwise look elsewhere and go for a well known name brand. I will be sending this back immediately. It doesn't even deserve a one star in my opinion and how others rated this with a 5 is beyond anyone's imagination.

Loved how easy this nail gun is to use and its sleek design. It’s extremely simple to use. I had an issue with the battery failing after four uses. I was immediately contacted by the seller and they were able to help me out to correct the situation.
