This is a really cool car buffer. I have a corded one but it's a pain in the but dragging the cord with me all around the car when I'm buffing out a car, so this will be super handy. The only bummer is that it didn't come with a battery or charger, which is common for a lot of these cordless tools. I did pick up a couple batteries but the batteries didn't come with a charger LOL. So I'm in the market for a charger now, just piecing it together. This is an orbital buffer, but it's not quite as 'orbital' as my other corded buffer, but it should be fine. It's fairly heavy, but that's great because you don't have to apply as much pressure when using it.

This unit came packed in a retail cardboard box, shipped in a larger Amazon box. Initial quality is ok. It comes with some accessories to get started, but not quite enough pads for a full size vehicle. It looks like a more expensive pro-grade polisher, but unfortunately, does not perform like the pro model. That said, it is actually a very good value if you're a DIY'er just working on the family cars a couple times a year. If you properly center your pads it should be pretty balanced and not vibrate as much. The front/back weight distribution will depend on your battery. It is relatively easy to use. Your results are going to largely be dependent on your technique, pad and polish selection. This unit gives you some interchangeable options for orbit, and if you get a 5" backing platento add to it, that gives you some flexibility between the two orbits and the two backing plates. This unit is sold tool-only and doesn't include a battery or charger. You're going to want multiple fully charged batteries if you're planning to polish and wax/seal. Even though it is brushless, rotary tools tend to chew through batteries. Battery usage seems pretty normal for this type of tool. Overall, this is a solid value for a hobbyist that already has dewalt batteries to use. This would probably not hold up if you're a professional detailer using this as their primary polisher.

Comfortable to hold and easy to control for light detailing work. Cordless design allows good mobility. Battery life is adequate for small projects but may require recharging for longer sessions. Good quality!

I was impressed with how lightweight and easy to handle for how big of a tool it is. I've used it on my pickup and it really does a great job of bringing back the shine. One of the things I love most is the compatibility with my existing Dewalt batteries. I don't have to worry about charging extra batteries or carrying around a power cord. I just pop in a charged battery, and I’m ready to go. The runtime is pretty decent too—I've done a few extended sessions without needing to swap batteries, which is a huge plus. The ergonomics are spot on—it's comfortable to hold for longer periods, and I didn't find myself getting fatigued. The buffer runs smoothly and doesn't shake, which gives you better control while working. Overall, if you’re looking for a reliable cordless buffer that integrates seamlessly with Dewalt tools, I would definitely recommend giving this one a try. It’s made a noticeable difference in the quality of my work and has been fun to use!

This cordless car buffer is a really nice upgrade from my corded one. Not having to drag a cord around the car makes buffing much easier and more enjoyable, especially when working around the whole vehicle. I chose this because I have Dewaly Max batteries already. It works well with my Dewalt batteries but as with any cordless tool, the added weight can add to arm fatigue. The tool itself is fairly heavy as is, but that actually helps since you don’t need to apply as much downward pressure. Another the trade-off is that it’s not as powerful and aggressive as my corded one. That said, it still works well for general buffing and polishing. Overall, very convenient and capable.

If you're on the Dewalt battery system and don't want to pay $360 for the Dewalt branded DA polisher then this makes a lot of sense. It comes well equipped and includes a polishing pad. It's a standard 15mm orbit but surprisingly, it includes a 21mm block if you want to widen the orbit. If you're wondering what that big hunk of metal is (see photo) then that's it. I have another brand's DA polisher (5 times the price) and it performs well for the price. If you're not a professional detailer then this is more than enough. It has a variable speed dial as well as a variable trigger. The trigger isn't my favorite as it doesn't feel near as smooth as a premium model. The polishing pad is fine for a freebie but do yourself a favor and pay a little bit extra for some premium branded pads - it makes a difference. The action for the DA polisher was just fine though and got the job done.
