This product is super comfortable as a bean bag chair. It does need some time in the beginning to fluff up, and takes a bit of manual labor to break apart the foam, but definitely worth it. It’s extremely satisfying and comfortable. The grey corduroy fabric is soft and as someone with sensory issues, the texture is very comforting and pleasant. It is a bit heavy, but that’s to be expected with the size, and it does require some re-fluffing/turnover of the chair after a bit of time, depending on how frequently you use it. The full size bag/mattress can comfortably fit one adult (I’m 5’3 and weigh about 145lbs), and if you squeeze, you could fit two adults. The cover feels nice and thick, the stitching is nice. I can’t comment on whether or not it’s comfortable because my cat hasn’t left it since since been delivered. I’ll take his word on it though.

I have to start this review off by saying that if what you want is a nice mattress which can become a bean bag chair … this is NOT your product. In fact I don’t know if such a product exists. This is a chopped memory foam filled bean bag style chair. As an added gimmick, the foam container is in the shape of a mattress. In a pinch you could use this as a mattress for kids at a sleepover or something. As with any bean bag chair of this type, the foam container is by design lumpy. This is not some flaw. It’s just how chopped memory foam chairs work. Ok on with the review. As with any other memory foam product, I had to let it air out and fluff up over a couple of days. It Febreezed the cover and the mattress shaped foam container. I spent time rubbing the clumps out of the foam container and flipping the “mattress” to really plump up all the foam bits. After I had all the foam nice and plumped up with no clumps, I put the “mattress” inside the cover just as shown on YouTube. I did it by myself. Once I plopped into the chair, I found it very comfortable. The cover seems quite durable. The chair holds up (so far) to my two kids using it as a crash mat and the foam seems to be retaining its body. I’m happy with the chair as my expectations were for a nice bean bag chair. If that’s what you want, I think you will be happy. Now the price is on the high side and I do have to knock a star off because the company is only too happy to let people think they’re getting a viable mattress AND a comfortable bean bag chair in one. You’re not. As I said before, you’re getting a bean bag chair with a mattress gimmick. ... show more

    • Exactly what I wanted it to be
I had high hopes for this bean bag bed thing and it exceeded each and everyone. I prefer sleeping with my bed on the floor for a variety of reasons, one of which is I prefer being closer to ground level. But I didn’t want a normal bed because there is limited space in my home and I also needed a chair for meditation and just vibing. This gives me both and is way too comfy. Even when it is a bean bag it is still big enough for me to curl up and sleep so I get to be lazy when I am sleepy and I don’t have to bother with turning it into a bed. My dog who sleeps in my bed also loves it and his opinion matters more than mine and he is spoiled as hell and super picky. So congrats my dog also loves this bed and when it is in chair mode he will whine at me to pick him up and put him on the chair. I am considering saving up and buying an even bigger version just because I plan to be lazy and never take it out of bean bag mode. Plus if the queen sized bean bag is big enough to sleep on the king should be big enough to stretch out on. ... show more

My son (14) and I (48) fight over who gets to sit in our bean bag chair. Thank goodness that I bought the king size and we can both fit on it together. We love to snuggle and watch movies (he'll deny it but he loves to too 😉) we haven't used it as a mattress yet probably because one of us is always sitting in it. We love it! Worth the money for sure. Yes the zipper pull is not supposed to be there. No it's not broken when you open the box. The foam is compacted for delivery. You will need to use some muscles to break up the foam and then let the mattress lay for 24 hours so it can "grow" to it's full thickness. You may have to keep breaking up the foam at first but it's so worth it.bill never buy a conventional bean bag again nor will I need to to buy and store a guest mattress anywhere. ❤️ ... show more

We bought one of these many years ago for our kids. We put it in the family room for our family of 6 used it all the time. It's great for watching tv, playing video games (non PC) and is really awesome when you are wrestling with your kids and need something really soft to body slam them on. My wife and I decided to buy 2 of these for us, not the kids, for our new home. Just to give a little perspective, we are over 50 years old, I have a bad hip, one replaced hip and a bad knee, and we love these chairs. We are empty nesters, so we specifically bought these for us to use. You can position it so you are in a more seated position or laying down. Plus, you can take the cover off, and spread out the bag with all the soft stuff in it and it a bed. Also, the cover is washable. Our cat and dog use to love sleeping on the old one, so we would take the cover off and put it in the washing machine and it came out nice and clean, and still good as new. The only issue we have with the 2 we just bought, is one came with more stuff than the other. No biggie. I would highly recommend these, especially if you have kids or grandkids. Our first one lasted about 15 years, and that is amazing considering what we put it through. ... show more
