The Cooper Evolution H/T All-Season 255/55R18XL 109H Tire is designed to deliver a comfortable ride, responsive handling, and all-season traction for 60,000 miles. A number of key features are integrated into the tire to give you confidence on wet or dry pavement, whether you’re stopping at an intersection, steering around a bend, or just trying to enjoy the ride. The Cooper Evolution H/T offers grip, stability, and comfort. The unique positioning of tread elements minimizes tire noise. The modern silica tread compound and tread profile provide even wear and a long tread life. The Evolution H/T is designed with STABILEDGE PERFORMANCE technology which enhances handling and dry traction stability. The 3D MICRO-GAUGE Sipes are Cooper's trademarked technology used to stabilize the tread elements and provide remarkably responsive handling. 3-D micro gauge sipes provide stability and traction in both wet and dry conditions. They extend the full- depth of the wearable tread which also enhances the worn appearance and contributes to even treadwear throughout the life of the tire. Wide water channels allow water to be evacuated away from the tread area reducing the potential for hydroplaning and improves handling in adverse weather conditions. The unique size and positioning of the tread elements minimizes the noise that could migrate into the vehicle cabin, improving overall ride comfort. The Cooper Evolution H/T is a mid-range highway tire for crossover vehicles, sport utility vehicles and light duty pickup trucks designed to deliver a smooth, comfortable ride, responsive handling, and all-season traction with long wearing tread.

I bought these for my Jeep Wrangler, because I didn't want a super-aggressive tread. My driving is all pavement and occasional sand, and these are perfect. (If the tread is too aggressive on the beach and dunes, you'll dig yourself in). They're quiet, good-looking, and easy to balance. I can't comment on their wear, because they were installed just yesterday -- but I'll update this review if there are any rude surprises. Best of all, Amazon's price was half that quoted to me by my local tire store. Even after paying the local guys to mount and balance, I came out about $300 ahead on a set of four. ... show more

These tires are American made. I'm not a stickler for American made stuff, other countries also make quality products. But it is nice to see something high quality made in this country. And these tires are quality. This is the third set I've put on a vehicle. One set on a 2008 Rav4, one set on a 2005 Highlander and a set on a 2008 Sequoia. These tires wear great, are good on both wet pavement and moderate snow, and are quiet. They also balance nicely with very little weight, so there are no major heavy spots. These tires have fairly deep groves which I'm sure help on wet pavement, and they have lots of siping which helps on snow/ice. None of the tires, which I bought here on Amazon, were more than a few months old when I got them. I never buy tires older than one year. (Look for the week/year manufactured date stamped on the tire) I rated these tires 5 stars because they deserve it. The Michelins on the Highlander were only four years old and already badly weather checked, which is why I replaced them. The tires on the Sequoia were chunking out, so needed tired immediately. I have been very disappointed in some brand name tires. The Rav has about 20K on the Coopers and they still look good. About 10k on the Sequoia. How well tires handle and wear is fairly vehicle specific, so I'm pleased that the Coopers have turned out to be a good fit on each of these vehicles. In general, I can recommend the Coopers for vehicles similar to these. ... show more

These Cooper Evolution H/T All-Season tires (265/70R16 112T) are doing great installed on my 1997 Toyota 4 runner (265/70R16 112T). No visible wear, tear, or cuts from shipping. Easy install and overall a great daily use tire. I live in Anchorage, AK and using them as an everyday commuter tire on paved and unpaved dirt roads I have seen no real challenges theses tires can't handle. I had no idea that we could order tires through Amazon!!! I happened to read about it through a FB group page I’m in. What a way to save $$$!!!! I did my due diligence and proved out tires available at the stores here on Maui - even our big name discount warehouse! No one even came close to the prices available from Amazon! And FREE shipping of TIRES on prime?!?! To HAWAII?!?! Seriously??? YES!!!!! After reading some of the reviews, we decided to give it a chance and order them for our truck. We had them shipped to our local Tire store where I was able to make an appointment through Amazon. The tires shipped quickly, I received the tracking information, went to our installation appointment, and done!!! Amazing!!! The tires are great quality, quiet, and gives a fairly smooth ride (good for a truck). I’m hoping they’ll last...but so far so good!! Highly recommend! ... show more

Bought 4 tires for my dad's Dodge 1500 quad cab. Tires arrived earlier than date estimated-thanks. They drove from Glenwood, IA to Sebastian, FL. Dad & Mom said, quiet tires, smooth ride, and that through a couple of heavy down pours in Florida-no issues at all with traction. Bought tire in November of 2018. Higher rating than others at a great price. So, after just over 1600 miles, all good. We'll see what the next 70k miles does to them! ... show more

    • Excellent price for a set of good tires.
My previous set of tires were Coopers, but they were not the Evolution H/T, something cheaper but I still paid $130.00 for each from my local store. After seeing this tire on Amazon, I went ahead and purchase a set, along with the install package. This tire is smooth on the road, and I can't find anything wrong with them. I didn't get a chance to test them in the rain yet, but being in Virginia, they will get plenty of rain. Out of curiosity I checked my local tire store, and they wanted $177.00 for each tire, with installation it would have cost me another $300.00. This included the "road hazard" warranty, but I think that's a scam. You can check your local store and see what they want, but I'm pretty sure it's more than $109. So in my opinion, this is an EXCELLENT BUY. A set of 4 tires with tax, installation for roughly $540, and if you want alignment, most installer will do it for another $100. BTW the installer didn't even know that Amazon's sold tires, it was done on the corporate level. I hope this review will help with someone during these times. ... show more
