So far so good! I know most of you reading this will be just like I was when I was shopping for a new mattress, to sum it up into one word, nervous. This is a big purchase, and one that is difficult to undo should things not work out. I have issues with low back pain on firmer mattresses, but I also don't do too well on ultra plush mattresses either, so it is a fine line of what will work for me. I also deal with shoulder pain on both sides when side sleeping. I'm a physically fit guy, 6'0, 155 pounds, but I've been in a lot of tumbles in my three and half decades, and consequently I have some pain that typically only develops after several hours sleep on a mattress that is not ideal. I am relieve to report that so far, this mattress has performed beautifully. It came quickly and safely, was very easy to unpack, and very quickly took full form. As soon as I laid on it for the first time I knew this was going to be a game changer, instant comfort, softness and a plush that is just right, not too plush, but more importantly, definitely not too firm! I've had the mattress for about two months now and I have absolutely gotten better rest every single night in the past two months then I was getting on my old mattress. At this point I have to say this mattress is not only excellent quality, but an equally excellent price for what you're getting. I would have imagined having to spend twice or even three times this much for a mattress with this level of comfort, unless it unexpectedly begins to decay or lose its form, comfort or otherwise, though I do not expect that to happen. If I remember I will will post another review in six months to see where its at and hopefully help others to make an informed purchase, but at this point, I'm very pleased with my decision to purchase this mattress. ... show more

Puffed up immediately - feels like a regular spring mattress but with proper support - LOVE THE BOUNCE - no odor - great quality and craftsmanship. Stitching is solid, no loose threads - I’m very impressed for a mattress in a box. 100 nights use guarantee is a bonus! I have a memory foam mattress topper that I’m putting on top of it as I do like a softer sleeping surface. I’m waiting 48 hours before putting on linens and sleeping on it since that’s what is recommended. I’ll review again after sleeping on it for 30 days…stay tuned! ... show more

This is the second Coolvie I've owned--had to leave the first behind due to a divorce--and I couldn't be happier. I'm a big guy, and it's a very comfortable, supportive mattress. I suppose I could gamble $1000 in a mattress store in hopes of lucking into something better, but I'm very happy with the Coolvie and would recommend it to anyone--especially if you're a larger person--looking for a cheap and comfortable mattress. ... show more

I bought this mattress because I was downsizing from a queen to full and sleep hot. The hybrid mattress is definitely cooler than foam mattresses I've had but it's still a bit warm for me. It's comfortable and instead of going through the trouble of returning it I got a gel/memory foam topper for 50$ and it solved my only issues with the mattress it's cool and comfortable. It inflated pretty much instantly and didn't smell. I have pretty bad back and knee pain and so far I haven't had issues with the mattress. (PS Fellow knee pain havers I'd recommend a pillow between your knees/legs while sleeping on your side it alleviates most of the pain!) ... show more

So I dunno it feels very light not dense springy almost my son likes it I got it for him die to XL length he is just getting so tall but to me it’s too squishy sinking feeling he say he doesn’t like a hard bed so I guess it depends what you like. Nice for the price - suitable for purpose

My old bed was so bad I was sleeping on the couch. I had gone to numerous mattress stores trying to find something reasonable. As with the present economy spending a lot on anything is not on my wish list. While at one store I laid on a bed and said this isn't bad but just a little soft for me. He explained it was a bed in the box. When I looked the reviews up on that one they were similar to what I felt when I was on it. So I continued to search. After reading the reviews I thought well its 1/4 of the price of the other ones I have seen and liked. Its incredible to me they can put this in a box. There is no way ever it will go back in one without a device to suck the air out and some work. According to the manufacture you have to let it decompress for the full effect of about 3-7 days. However, you can sleep on it before hand and doing so will not effect the decompressing. So night one I laid on it and it felt extremely springy and I was like "oh no this isn't going to be good". Plus it was very soft. It sank when you got on it. Second night wasn't to bad but not great. It didn't sink as low as the first night. However, I slept through the night. I also found it to be a bit hard more firm than med /firm, by the third night. I had a mattress topper from my old bed that is still in like new condition. I threw it on top and the next night it wasn't much better. Now I'm on the fourth night with it and I have to say its comfortable. I'm keeping my topper on it and if I take it off its to firm for me. Its firm more than medium. Plus it doesn't sink at all now. Nor do I feel the springs, nearly as much as the first night but I can still feel them. Side note: The center is softer to sleep on than the sides. So that is a little odd to me. Its not consistent around the mattress and this is night 6. I have a king size bed and have normally always slept one side or the other but right now its strictly the middle. Firm in todays standards is more like sleeping on a board. 20 years ago firm is more like a medium in todays time. Will the mattress last ten years? I don't know about that but for the moment it will work for me. Now it is two weeks in to sleeping on this and I don't wake up in the night nor do I toss and turn all night but I wake each morning with the middle of my back slightly sore. I'm not sure if this will be good for the long term but for the moment its working. Would I buy it again? yes Would I recommend it? probably so. Size and weight do matter in mattress shopping. Would I buy it for my son? No because he has a 6k bed and would know the difference. EDIT: It's now been several months since I bought this. It's completely decompressed, and I love it. Legit its so comfortable I actually want to go to bed. I have left my topper on it and its perfect for me. If you like a firmer mattress, you don't need the topper, but my topper makes it kind of like a pillow top. I sleep like a baby. I also live in FL on the beach and even in the worse of the storms we have gotten this season I slept through every one of them. My neighbors look at me like I'm on crack when I told them I didn't wake. i think they are now concerned for me. Just saying. I'd definitely buy this again. ... show more

I have chronic pain and I was waking up stiff and sore every day. I bought this mattress and it is MUCH more comfortable than my old mattress, and I am not as sore when I get up. It is very thick and I was afraid my sheets wouldn't fit, but they do. I am very pleased with this mattress.
