I love this mattress but it was a bit less firm than described by my kids. My son said it was soft and my daughter said medium. It reached full size after unpacking in just 6 hours and my son and daughter slept on it the next day after unpacking. I like that the mattress is two sided so it can be turned over for longer life. My son and daughter are in 5th and 6th grade said it slept "cool" and was not "bouncy". They liked that when one of them turned over it didn't move about to wake the other. Their old mattress was a box spring and they liked this because it makes no noise and had plenty of room for them. I am considering getting a King size for my husband and I. UPDATE: although the company has ignored my request. A phone call to Amazon customer service this morning and in a few minutes they granted a return and full refund. It's like sleeping on a flat rock. And firm mattresses are normally ok for me. I tried a 3 inch memory gel foam pad that was expensive and it's still very hard. It causes such pain at knee, hip and shoulder levels that there's no way to fall asleep. I reached out to the company and never heard back from them. How do you return it? You have to have a special machine to roll it back up. Pretty crappy that the company just ignores my attempts to contact them. Guess im stuck. ... show more

This mattress amazed me. It’s not hard but not soft either but firm. I’d recommend it if you don’t like memory foam. This mattress is easy to get into and out. But it is soft on the edge.

Fine for the price. Came rolled up in a box, had a weird smell for a couple days but it did go away. My only real complaint is that it is incredibly squishy for a mattress labeled as firm.
