I'm very happy with the Coolski Commercial freezer (54"W"). I've had it over a year now and it is a heavy duty, solidly built appliance. I grew tired of the consumer grade products with all their fancy electronics and poor build quality and constant failures. I have experience in electrical work and HVAC systems and was pleased to see an "Old-School" type appliance again with simple, rugged design. Fast forward a year, and I began to have trouble with the Coolski slowly gaining temperature. Troubleshooting revealed that the evaporator inside was frozen over solid. The compressor was continuing to run 24/7 even during the routine defrost cycles. You may be wondering why I'm rating this thing 5 stars right now. The simple, rugged design made for easy troubleshooting and mitigation. I was able to easily unplug the compressor/condenser fan while leaving everything else powered and running manual defrost cycles to melt the ice. Meanwhile, I contacted Coolski support and let them know of my issue and my findings. We agreed that the cause of this problem was a faulty Control Unit and they shipped a new one immediately... no fuss, no hassle, just firmly stood behind their product and helped me save the big$$$ in frozen meat I had at stake(pun intended). The other important detail to know here is that this Control unit is not some giant computer system comprised of multiple modules and motherboards and all the garbage you see in your typical "home" appliance. It is a simple box that fits in the palm of your hand and is a simple, plug and play, swappable item. It represents the entirety of the Coolski's electronics and again demonstrates the simplicity of design that makes commercial so much more maintenance friendly. Another consideration for you is this; the heavy duty construction and castors gave me the ability to easily move the unit away from the wall while still full and HEAVY for the troubleshoot. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation I'll save you some trouble. Just pull the front grille and you"ll have access to everything you need. The control unit took mere minutes to replace and the unit is back to its old sub-zero self again. I'm very happy with this purchase and highly recommend Coolski to anyone in need of a great freezer backed by great people. ... show more

I absolutely love this freezer. I can fit 1/2 a cow in it and still have room for ice cream and whatever else I need to keep frozen. It’s not very loud, and looks great in my kitchen along side the 5’ double door Coolski refrigerator I also have. They both have been trouble free, and very nice looking. Everyone who sees them are jealous and want them. You just need to have a giant kitchen to make it work. ... show more

Great freezer very energy efficient. My only negative is controlling panel feels very cheap and difficult to use however it comes programed how most people we want so you don't need to try and figure it out and deal with the cheep buttens
