Needed an effects pedal mainly for chorus on my bass. This pedal actually surprised me. Works as well as some $300 brand pedals I use frequently. All the effects are really cool , easy to dial in on the fly. The bright lights make it easy on a dark stage to adjust. Pedal button seems solid , I’ve used it on my guitar and really have fun with the funky sounds you can put out with this thing.     • Overall good quality, but vibrato is too much
Pros: - Nice set of effects - Controlling effects is very straightforward - Build quality seems very good Cons: - Vibrato "depth" setting doesn't go low enough I wanted a multi-effects pedal that had vibrato, and this one seemed to fit the bill. I'm very happy with many of the effects, but unfortunately the vibrato is way too intense. It's barely tolerable with the depth setting minimized, and even then I have to keep the mix at a relatively low level. Any depth setting above about 25% I would characterize as ridiculous -- kind of like the "boing" cartoon sound effect. ... show more

    • Pretty good for the money
This is a pretty solid multi effect modulation pedal. Like all cheap multi-effect pedals, there are some effects that sound pretty bad, like the rotary speaker and chorus, but the others range from "usable" to "surprisingly good." There are some oddities given the nature of the knobs, like having a mix on a dynamic wah, but that's not a big problem. The highlight for me us the detuned effect, which sounds awesome if you run a fuzz through it. The ring mod is probably the best I've played in the sub $100 range, too. The tremolo can go from subtle and slow to downright stupid, the phasers sounds really nice, and the flanger is okay. The biggest downside is the lack of a manual. The knobs features vary between effects, so it would be nice to have an idea of what they do, as would it to know the range on effects like the detuned. All on all, pretty good for $50. ... show more

    • It does what it's supposed to.
Not bad for the money, if you're a serious musician, look elsewhere. But for the bedroom jammer, it's fun and plenty. The only thing to think about is sometimes you want two or more of these effects at once and this is one effect at a time. Good value for playing around though.
