  • Not Perfect, But Really Good Replacement Fabric Pads for Bose QC35s.
I think I'd go 4.5 on these Wzsipod ear cushions if I could. They're not perfect, but they're not bad at. it's mostly personal preference, as I'm spoiled by the velvety soft fabric earpads I put on my Sony studio monitors over a decade ago. i chose these Wzsipod ear cushions for my Bose QC35 after I noticed the original vinyl earpads had started peeling ever so slightly. I prefer fabric earpieces, so this was a good excuse to make the swap a bit earlier than I normally would have. The pads fit just fine. Although I didn't attempt to remove the inner screens and replace those, the screens that came with this set do seem molded to the shape of the originals and look like they'd be a simple fit. As for the earpads, the ear openings are slightly smaller than the originals. This makes them slightly less comfortable for me. Also the fabric isn't as soft as I was hoping for. The fabric isn't scratchy, but it is stiff. I'm hoping they'll break in over time. The cool gel insert really does feel cool for the first couple of minutes you're wearing them, but after that there's not much cooling action. I can take them off for a few seconds, put them back on, and they do feel cool again, so that's an interesting trick. The biggest problem I'm having is noise reduction. I can tell a noticeable noise reduction in droning, low end noises when I turn my headphones on. But higher pitched noises seem to be unaffected by the noise cancellation now. I can hear my clicky keyboard when I type, even after going around to ensure that the pads were clipped in correctly (there are 10 clips that hold the earpads in place, and I counted to make sure all ten clips were secure before complaining about this). I can also hear the thwack of my silent keyboard as I type this at the same volume level as I would without wearing any noise cancelling headphones. Of course, with music playing, these sounds are much less noticeable, so that's not a deal breaker. If I'm being nit-picky, I would've preferred a solid color over the gray/black pattern. But having fabric was more important to me than the look, and these don't look terrible—though you can judge the aesthetics in the pictures I uploaded and decide for yourself. Despite the smaller ear openings and slightly reduced noise dampening, I do believe the fabric is more comfortable overall than the stock pads, so that's a benefit. And they're surprisingly easy to replace, so I can still go back to my stock earpieces anytime I want to. I wouldn't say I'm 100% happy with these, but I'm 90% happy. I think I'll be wearing my QC35s more than I did with the stock pads, so overall I found these to be a good value that lets me make the most of my headphones despite the shortcomings. EDIT: I’ve been using my QC35s outside this afternoon while my neighbor cuts down a tree. I’ve walked out to the road to check mail and have been impressed with these. No sweatiness, and I’m able to hear just enough of traffic over my music to make me feel safer about having them on near the road. As I write this, I’m sitting on my back patio on a muggy warm afternoon and these pads feel extremely comfortable. I believe I will be very happy with them long term. ... show more

  • Fits my AE2 wireless headphones; comfortable to wear; cooling pads work well
After looking into accessory compatibility, I discovered that the QC25 has the same fit as the AE2 wireless headphones. My AE2s are over a decade old and are showing their age. They sound like new, but the padding was really worn. For the price of new ones, it wasn't worth replacing if I could just replace the pads. These were so easy to install with the included booklet, and the cooling gel definitely makes a difference in the feel. They feel like tiny little pillows around my ears. The end result does make my headphones look and feel brand new for a fraction of the cost. The padding is soft and comfortable and made of good quality materials. I would recommend these for restoring a compatible set of headphones that don't have any functional issues. I included a photo showing one of the cooling pads installed just to show the difference in the fullness of the padding. My old ones were starting to leave little flakes of dried-out black pleather on my face and in my hair when I would remove them, so the replacement has made a big difference in comfort. These are well worth the price. ... show more

  • Very comfortable
I bought these for the Bose QC25 headphones, which are getting up there in age and the original leather-like pads were starting to wear - also I always found the leather-like pads to be quite hot, so I was curious if these might be a bit more comfortable - and I think they are. They're also a bit larger, which for me was a bonus as the original QC25 pads were on the smaller side for an over the ear headphone. Installing these was easier than I thought it would be - I had just replaced the ear pads one some other headphones and you had to guide them all the around sort of tucking them in, etc - it was a pain. With these, you literally just rip off the old ones, and the new ones sort of snap into place, only takes a couple of mins, and it only takes that long because it's new - the 2nd earphone only took about 15 seconds to replace. Finally, I wasn't sure about the color, and it's obviously subjective, but in person these ended up looking a lot better than I thought they would with the white and beige. In any case, these are great, gives new life to some old headphones that still have amazing noise canceling and still sounds great. Also this should work perfect with at least the QC35 as I believe they use the same pad design. ... show more

  • For SoundLink headphones not Sound Link On Ear Headphones
Had purchased in the past a replacement for the older "SoundLink On-Ear Headphones" which fit my headphones but the qaulity was not good. So I got these which supposedly fit "Bose SoundLink headphones"; however, these replacement pads are way too big. The quailty seem fine on these but the poor review is for the description. You should make sure that your headphones are either "on-Ear" or regular SoundLink. ... show more

  • Nice ear pads replacements
I had to replace my BOSE QZ35 ear pads because the old pair was chafing off. These ear pads are nice looking and they are quite comfortable to wear. They are a little thicker than my olds ones and I can wear them for a long period of time without sweating. I really like the pattern of these pads, they are so cool looking plus they are easy to install. My Bose headset looks like a brand new pair after I changed out my old to these new replacements. I recommend this product. ... show more

  • Very good replacement for lost or damaged ear cushions
The QuietComfort 35 replacement earpads kit by Wzsipod comes with a pair of ear cushions compatible with several Bose headphones and two sets of left & right speakers covers. I used the replacement earpads on the QuietComfort 35ii headphones. They were super easy to install and there are no special tools required. The step-by-step guide is clear and easy to follow. I liked that they feel soft, comfortable and do not interfere with the sound performance and noise canceling features of the headphones I got this color to match a 3rd party headband pad I got and they look very good together. I might get an extra one to mix and match. ... show more
