Purchased three sets, each of three sizes, (nine pieces total) in early 2019. Last week was the first time used Coolife blue set and the top of the large case split about 1.5-2" in the area of the extendable handle. Case was only carrying about 40 pounds of clothes. Now I see that we are past the time to return the defective luggage. I use one of the other sets for extensive business travel and I'm now thinking this was a bad $450 decision. Luggage rolls well but a "first time use" split of the case is not a good indication of durability. More critically is the return policy. Apparently, after 30 days it is your problem. UPDATE - The company contacted me within 24 hours and showed real concern for the problem - and they replaced the case that developed the crack. This year, we have purchased three sets of the luggage - each with three pieces - and all other cases have held up very well. Very happy with the company and the resolution. ... show more

I love the luggage set! I did a lot of research before choosing these. It’s good things about this line from cool life! Yes, they are pretty shiny so they will get scuffed up when flying. 3 type of sizes for different length of travel days.I would buy it again without hesitation.

We are very pleased with this set! So far, the largest piece has been on 4 plane rides on a trip with a teenager. Other than a few little scuffs (to be expected), it is in great condition. The wheels move as smoothly as promised. We've even encountered very seasoned travelers who (without prompting) commented on the superb quality of the set. I love that they nest inside one another when not in use... and do so without a struggle! They are lightweight, but do feel very sturdy. From the start I have been satisfied with this luggage! The packaging was great; they all arrived in mint condition. I have only used the 28" suitcase so far and it's amazing. It's super spacious and I was able to easily fit everything I needed without even opening the extension zipper. Disclaimer - I am no light packer! The zippers are very strong and the while the wheels are pretty light, they're strong as well. My suitcase came up to about 50lbs at the airport, but the wheels made it is easy to push around. We purchased 3 sets of luggage on Amazon for a trip to South America. Of the 3, the Coolife expandable 3 Piece was the best value. It is more durable, & very easy to manage. The con is it is so spacious that it is easy to fill up & exceed weight limits! Definitely recommend!

I love this color. I was very indecisive because color always look different from a picture. But I saw that the blue was a bit darker in reality so I knew that the purple would have been the same. So I ordered it and I absolutely love it. The extender is not as strong and sturdy as my other hardcase but I'm ok with that. The inside material is thicker than my other one with the Coolife branding. It is expandable, which means you can pack more stuff. You can't hate on these luggages at all. I am going to use them in a week so I will see if they withstand airport trauma lol. I actually love them more than the blue that I see in the pictures. ... show more

Received the bags and they looked good! Light, easily rolled. We packed up and went on our trip. Domestic in the US. Second flight, we pick up the bag and the zipper is popped. One of our items is on the conveyer belt. I took it to the side, opened and closed the zipper. It closed again but in the commotion of having to check the conveyer for other items and closing my bag again at baggage claim, lost a bag with my wireless headphones, phone charger, neck pillow. We arrived home on our third flight. Our bag was closed but I saw another on the conveyer belt with the zipper popped open. ... show more

Awesome quality for the price! I got theee for my daughter for Christmas because she travels a lot to see her father on school breaks and summers. These have beyond met our expectations. Anyone that travels knows how the toss around and beat up your luggage. These have stood up fantastic with only a couple of scuffs. The locks looked a little on the cheaper side but to my surprise worked perfect. My daughter loves the bright color as it’s easy to spot coming off of the baggage claim area.
