I was somewhat skeptical about the tent after reading some of the reviews but thought for the price it was worth taking a chance so I ordered one. I have now been using the tent for just over a month now and about ten days after setting it up I had to relocate the tent to another room of the house I really wasn't looking forward to taking it apart and moving it at all turns out it was a snap super simple to put it together the first was just as easy to take it apart move it to another roon and reassemble it. Now as little about me so you have a reasonable idea about the person writing this review. I am a retired general contractor of 32 plus years with well over 4000 projects under my belt and over 600 employees. I can be a pretty tough customer sometimes. I expect fair quality for my dollar and I MUST say this tent is a huge bang for the buck, if anyone says any less they simply are one of those people that you can't make happy at any price. I am very happy with this product period I am ordering two more of them later this month I may order more if conditions warrant especially being I am starting to teach a few people to grow. My partners and I have considered ordering a more expensive one being the next one is the larger size but we have decided our experience with this tent out wins our business that being said we are making a serious attempt at taking first place in next year's competition and we think this tent will help us achieve our goals and then some. We will also be strongly encouraging our grow students to select this tent as part of the supplies we require to take our grow glasses.. Really nice grow tent. Frame feels sturdy and the canvas wrap fits tightly, thick, and has double cinch port holes. However I bought the 2’x2’x36” tent and I should have bought a larger one.

Of all the tents, this one is thick, barely any light leaks - yes a seam, yes a zipper... But I have a topolite/topogrow 8x8 and this one is by far better, and i thought the Topolite was really nice. The only caveat are the windows. They are useless for many grows and if you open them, they won't ever seal well enough to be trusted to block light. - One of the poles bent inward from the 8" intake fan suction.......... Now the tent eats up over 12" of space when a negative pressure hits, which smashes the plants. Tent is really nice, but the poles are the issue. ... show more

I got the 2'x4'x5' Valuebox Grow Tent and I am impressed! Pros: -The material is thick! I've purchased dozens of grow tents over the years and this one certainty has the thickest material. -No light leaks! -Material overlaps zippers. There are flaps inside and outside the tent to cover the zippers in order to prevent light leaks. -Drip tray has martial to tie to poles. Other grow tents have velcro which always comes apart when the drip tray is slightly moved. Cons: -The instructions need improvement. It's a piece of paper that shows all the different size grow tents and list them in cm only - not in inches. That made it a little confusing for me and forced me to waste time converting it. Also, it's not clear step-by-step instructions; it just shows one diagram for the tent. ... show more

This is a GREAT grow tent and not one problem. It does have some loose thread/material you have to navigate, but considering ALL the other positives, it's minor. Not many negative reviews, but when buying something like this, it's important to be fair to potential buyers. The negative reviews baffled me as soon as I put it up, and NOW that I've been using it for a couple of months, I REALLY believe they're skewed toward bias for some personal slight. I'm 62 years old btw with arthritis and fibromyalgia, so I think it says a LOT that I find it user friendly, not to mention that one could not pry this tent from my cold dead hands. Good frame but poor otherwise poor construction. the I have light leaks at all of the seams. From purchasing other tents that were truly light proof i expected no light leaks. At every seam there is light leaking out, i see it coming from between the zippers and almost anywhere there is stitching it leaks light. It will all be fixed with, but don't expect a high quality tent. I'm sure i could warranty it and mess up my cycle but its not worth the loss in productivity. Also the floor "Tray" is just a strip of 600D with raised sides on 2 sides far from an actual tray and will not prevent anything from going below it. ... show more

I received my grow tent today and when I was putting the poles together I noticed I had a faulty bar that does not have a tapered end to slide into the adjoining pole. Im waiting on a response to see if I can get a replacement part before I return the product to the seller.
