  • Quiet and cool.
I love the CoolerMaster MasterAir MA624 Stealth CPU Air Cooler. It fits the Phantek Enthoo Pro ATX case well. It sits comfortably on my Intel socket and keeps my i7 chip cool at stock speeds. It is quiet. It looks great too.

  • It functions, but some glaring problems with noise and RAM clearance.
The CPU cooler does what it does, it cools the CPU. In my benchmarks, idle temperatures were around low 30s while upper 60s and mid 70s during stress tests. Now for the two major issues with this cooler, RAM clearance and noise levels. With a push configuration (where the fan are attached above the memory slot and pushing air into the heat sink), the fan would be covering all four memory slots. With the 140mm fan, around 60% of the heat sink would be covered. With the 120mm fan, around 75% of the heat sink would be covered. A work around with this is either getting low profile RAM sticks or doing what I did and using a pull-pull configuration, where the 120mm fan would be attached to the back of the heat sink; pulling air from the front and exhausting into the back (the middle fan that's preinstalled would be pushing air into the back half of the sink while pulling from the front half). (Note: I have another 140mm fan would be exhausting heat as shown in the photo). A diagram would be something like this in my build: (<-- direction of air) [Exhaust] PC Back <-- 140mm Case Fan <-- 120mm Cooler Fan <-- Heat Sink Back <-- Preinstalled fan <-- Heat Sink Front <-- 3-120mm Case Fans <-- PC Front [Push] For the most problematic issue that I've had, the two fans that came with it. I tested the 120mm and 140mm fans in both configurations (push-pull, pull-pull), and for some reason, either or made weird noises. For the 120mm fan, they made a low, but noticeable humming noise, which I was fine with. Even worse were the 140mm fan. They made a weird rattling noise, as if the blades were scrapping against the plastic guard on the back or on the sides. The 140mm fan were so bad, that I was worried that they would damage something. Overall as a product, it works great as a CPU cooler as the heat sinks does its job; diffusing heat, but the fans were a concern with RAM clearance and strange noise levels. Next time, I would switch over to an AIO CPU cooler for both RAM and fan noise. ... show more

  • THIS THING IS A BEAST
Maintains good temps under load, ( using it with an i7 12700k ), but I don't recommend using it for over clocking

  • Great product.
I did not go with the RGB model but I am still very satisfied with my purchase. Fan noise is great on idle, when gaming you can hear it speed up just a bit nothing crazy or annoying. My temps while gaming stay around 36-49c.

  • Looks nice, but fans make noise even at low speeds
I had been using the Nactua D15 (with included fans) for a while. I liked the look of this new Cooler Master MA624 CPU cooler. I got it in and it's to fans connected to the cooler, and then connected the fans to my motherboard fan header. This way I could test out the fan noise and speed without having to mount it. At the lowest speed (around 800-850 rpm) I could hear like a rattling coming from both fans. Took the front fan off and could tell the sound was coming from the center motor area. I then ran them at high speeds (1300 rpm) and they were very loud. When compared to the fans that come with the Nactua D15 cooler, the Nactua fans are near silent at low 800 rpm and doesn't make any rattling sound. At higher speeds (1200-1300) they are still loud but not as "noisy" as the Cooler Master fans. So based on the fan noise at low and high speeds, I believe the D15 is the better cooler/fan package than the MA624. The D15 does keep the CPU under 82C. Since the Cooler Master fans were louder, I decided not to go through the long process of mounting it. ... show more
