10/10 nothing compares
I’ve had thermaltake cpu cooler, NZXT cpu cooler, Corsair cpu cooler, and this ml240r has the highest flow rate of any of them at 69 fl, all the other coolers mentioned above were 50 or below. And keeps my cpu cooler then any of them also. This thing is the best of the best. They did not cut any corners on this one buddy. I am beyond satisfied with this purchase and cannot wait to buy the individual addressable rgb fans coming out soon to complete my build.

For Horizontal (Top Case) Mounting; Not for Vertical Front-Facing Installation
This is the cooler I chose for my first custom PC build. I installed it in the BitFenix Enso case. My original intent was to install it in the top of the case, but it does not have the space with the ASUS Z370-E motherboard, so I had to install it front-facing. This also was a challenge. The front of the case has three 120mm mounts with filters built into the case in front of the lower two. Yet the mounts for this cooler would not line up with the lower two mounts and had to be installed in the top two, which is detrimental to its performance - it's not pulling nearly as much air into the case. This may be the fault of the case itself, but I also am not afforded space to install a third fan under the radiator. I'm not deducting points for any of this - as I said, it may be the fault of the case. Also, out of the box, a small number of the radiator fans were dented. The effect on performance is beyond negligible, but still disappointing. The hoses are very rigid and made it a bit trickier to install, trying to determine what angle I should install the pump at so it could reach the front of the case. This is indicative of it being intended for top-case mounting. When I first turned on the PC, I had to hold the tubing to feel the water flow to ensure it was working. It was beautifully quiet. About three days into use, I heard a horrendous leaking noise from the cooler. I panicked and checked thoroughly inside the case, but it hadn't leaked. I started hearing the noise every couple hours and panicked every time, but it never leaked. Then I started hearing a rattling noise coming from it. The noise was intermittent, but started growing louder and more frequent with time. Doing some research, I discovered that means there's some air in the loop. This is a sealed loop, so it is not intended to be opened or modified by the consumer. Since I'd been waiting for other PC parts, I was already past the return date for this product, so I've continued using it. In discussing my computer with a more advanced PC builder, he recognized that this cooler is more ideally mounted in the top of the case - specifically to keep the radiator horizontal. For standard ATX cases, a lot of times this is standard practice with a 240mm radiator, but the AIO coolers will often not mention this detail. This is, in his opinion, quite likely the reason this cooler is so noisy for me. I've not bothered measuring the temperature of my CPU with this cooler since it's simply inadequate for my build and not in an ideal spot in my case for airflow. If you get this cooler, ensure it will fit in the top of your case rather than attempting to mount it vertically. Also, it doesn't say it, but it does come with a little bit of thermal paste.

Keeps everything cool, easy install, neat lighting
Quick pros and cons Pros: -Installs very easily -Keeps my OC'd 3770k cool -Lighting is awesome especially considering how scarce ARGB is on the market atm -Color controller works well -Does what it advertises to do, can't ask for much more than that Cons: -While not Cooler Master's fault, the software to control the ARGBs is a bit scarce at the moment (I reckon motherboards manufacturers will start updating the software to alleviate this) Got the cooler over the weekend and was a breeze to install on my 3770k. I've since been monitoring temps under load (gaming, not stress tests) and it seems to hover around ~45c. Definitely suggest using this with a case that has a clear panel so the lighting can be viewed as the lighting is pretty stellar.

I can't think of any reason to pay less for this
This review is for the 360mm ML360R version. This cooler lacked the Socket 2066/2011-v3/2011 mounts, but it came with 2 sets/2 pairs of AMD hardware. While I'm sure that someone on the pcpartpicker forums will recommend this over the h150i, x72, or Floe Riing 360 because of the price or what they saw in a Tomshardware review, it's not worth it. I ended up having to return this AIO cooler because my h150i beats it by 5c, on top of lacking the Intel HEDT hardware. I bought this based off the Tomshardware review but I'm not sure why their review is different from my own tests. It seems like the review that's on Techpowerup might be more accurate. Core i7-2600k @ 5.0ghz (4997mhz), 1.485v, Z77 Sabertooth, Corsair Vengeance 8gb (2x4gb) DDR3-1600 cl9 at 1333mhz 9-9-9-24. Prime95 v29.4 Blend. Fans and pump at 100% on all coolers. ML360R fans at 2030rpm and Pump at 2300rpm according to HWMonitor. Prime95 was run for 1 hour. EVGA clc280....... 71c H150i........79c Cooler Master ML360R..........84c The temps go into the 90's when I run Small FFT after 10 minutes. With the clc280 the temps don't exceed 79c. With Prime95 Blend, the estimated CPU wattage is 125w, and it's 135w running Small FFT's. I reseated the block while reapplying the paste. I made sure the fan and pump speeds were at 100%. Mounting pressure was as tight as I could get it, and the TIM spread evenly both times. I used Kryonaut as the paste on all these coolers. Aside from that, there were a few slightly indented spots on the radiator fins, and the fins aren't as even as they are on my H150i. The paintjob on the radiator fins isn't even either, but I figured that would be helpful. The bottom of the Coldplate is a little more grainy than it is on my clc280 and H150i. The overall quality of the clc280 and H150i are a lot more solid. This AIO cooler only comes with a 2 year warranty, so I'd be wary of that. It comes with a gob of cables. However, I was able to find the right combination to make the RGB and lighting work with an older z77 motherboard. This might be more simple on a modern board with RGB Headers. If you're looking for overall performance, nothing seems to be able to beat the clc280. These 360mm AIO coolers seem to have too many issues and maybe the Gen 5 or 6 Asetek pump can't handle a 360mm radiator at 2300rpm.
