This is a fantastic product and it is VERY good looking. It displays RGB colors in the fans and inside the cooler itself. It has a “tunnel” down the middle which shows a holographic light effect. There is a small controller to set the lighting mode. It is attached to a metal surface inside your case with an internal magnet. Many lighting modes including a “temperature-gauge” mode that changes with processor temp (load). The mode can be set using: a) the buttons on this small controller b) by connecting the controller to a 9-pin USB header on the motherboard then using their free software (“USB Male to 5 Pin Motherboard Female Header Adapter Cable” required) c) By connecting cooler to an RGB-enabled motherboard The unit is nearly silent at low CPU loads/temps and quiet even at full speed. It provides airflow over the DRAM sticks, with the air flowing from the front of the case to the rear. It requires a high clearance above the motherboard, so you need to have an appropriate, “deep” case. It is a tight fit next to the DRAM sticks, but it is obviously engineered to be that way. It is not an easy installation, but it is very doable with the patience to follow the steps, which are provided in a “picture only” instruction pamphlet (less translation with no words). Access to the back of the motherboard at the site of the processor is required so if your case doesn’t have that access, you will need to remove the motherboard. There is a tiny wrench included to tighten the cooler to the mounts on the motherboard, but I found it impossible to access the screws from the sides, as the instructions show. Instead, I removed the two fans from the cooler which gave me straight-on access and allowed me to easily tighten the screws with a screwdriver, from above. Each fan is attached with 4 knurled screws which can be removed and reinstalled with your fingers. This too was obviously engineered that way, it’s just too bad that the instructions don’t mention that feature or that method of installation. It would have saved me hours. The kit contains a TINY tube of thermal compound paste, which you should throw away and, instead, buy a tube of real paste with 4 grams of compound. The contact pad has four, double-ended heat pipes which go up and through the cooler and I am sure that heat conduction, away from the processor, is as good as it gets. So much more than the Intel cooler that came with my chip. There is one glaring problem. There is no support available. I searched their website and could not find any way to contact Cooler Master other than to request that a service ticket be opened. I did that and never heard anything back from them. Amazon offers "support" on the pages from which I ordered but they could only offer to transfer me to Cooler Master. I got an 800 number from them, which I later found on their website, but always got a VM that stated their hours and said they were too busy to answer the phone and then it hung up. I tried for days at different times of the day and NEVER got them to answer. All I wanted to do was find out if my motherboard was supported and if they had any more installation suggestions. Luckily I figured it out myself and removed the fans as I stated earlier. All-in-all, I am extremely pleased with this cooler and I feel that the price would be reasonable even if it were doubled. It is a very good-looking addition to my setup – see my attached pictures. BTW: I purchased the $9.99 Protection Plan which would probably be a good idea for anyone else.

During Handbrake encodes of 1080p video my processor would constantly post temps above 80 C. I'm encoding a video right now and I'm only hitting 66 C at the highest. The looks of the cooler are pretty great, I like the temperature indication LED mode. The black shroud around the fins was annoying to deal with during installation, but it gives the cooler a very clean look once it's installed so It's worth it. The cooler itself was somewhat of a pain to install. The included wrench was intended for you to be able to install it with the fans on, but it's practically impossible to do while the motherboard is installed in your case. I didn't want to remove my motherboard so I removed the fans from the cooler and was able to install the cooler with a screw driver instead of the included wrench. You'll just need to be careful to not damage the fins if you do it that way but I found it to be much easier in the end, and reinstalling the fans was relatively easy if you have a short or 90 degree screwdriver. Depending on your case your mileage may vary. I have a Fractal Design Define R4. Overall I'm happy with the look and performance. I didn't have a lot of extra headroom on my power supply for an All in One water cooler, and this seems to do the job just as well with air.

As long as you know what you're in for, the MA410M is a gorgeous, quiet air cooler. But it takes a lot of (mostly software) work to go beyond the RGB basics. 1) The MA410M is huge and heavy, as expected. It takes work to clamp this beast to the motherboard, and like many other reviewers, I needed to remove the fans from the heatsink to do so. Make sure this will fit in your case! Even in my Hyte Y60, I couldn't believe the cooler only cleared the inside of the case glass by 2 mm. The front fan didn't clear my RAM (Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro SL), so I had to dremel a millimeter's worth of material off two of the fan corners to get the fan to fit. 2) CoolerMaster's MasterPlus+ control software can work with this unit, but only after updating the included controller's firmware, which requires finding a (not included) mini-USB to USB cable to connect the unit. CoolerMaster's tech support insisted (multiple times) I needed to buy a different CoolerMaster controller, but that's not true. 3) Like most RGB software, MasterPlus+ does a couple of things well (in this specific case, gradient effects), and the rest of the features and interface need refinement. MasterPlus+ will not work without using a CoolerMaster controller. 4) The MA410M boasts "28 addressable LEDS". While technically true, CoolerMaster apparently wired them up as pairs along the sides (not the fan facing sides, so that's good), and further wired up the first two pairs of a given side, closest to the tunnel window. At the beginning of the video, see how the first two circles in the tube both light up together, and then each circle lights up one at a time as the effect moves down the tube? In essence, this means the MA410M has only 12 addressable sets of LEDs -- not 14, and not 28, even though there are indeed 28 LEDs. Remember that for whichever software you use to control the RGB of the MA410M. I would have liked more granular control over the LEDs, but it's not a big deal. I'd love to know why CoolerMaster chose this strange approach. Doing anything beyond basic RGB with this cooler took far more time than the rest of my RGB setup combined, and I ended up getting deep into the weeds with SignalRGB to get the effects I wanted. CoolerMaster's support, while quick (less than 24 hours to respond each time), didn't understand their own product. I also replaced CoolerMaster's included RGB controller with a Razer controller since I needed the extra controller ports and decided against using MasterPlus+ software. The MA410M works fine with other 3-pin aRGB controllers, including motherboard aRGB headers. While it took a ton of work to figure out and unlock the potential of the RGB in the MA410M, let's be honest -- we get this cooler for the appearance. CoolerMaster made a fantastic looking, well-functioning air cooler. CoolerMaster's software, documentation, and support cost me untold hours of labor, and I talked myself into giving a four star review rather than just the three stars I wanted. The physical cooler itself? A five star creation.

This Cooler looks and performs beautifully. While at the same time staying virtually silent while under near max loads in a mesh airflow focused case. The LEDS are of good quality, not cheap looking and the various presets with the button controller are a nice touch. Overall very satisfied with this cooler all around. The one thing to keep in mind with a cooler of this size is always the height. It needs "165.5mm" clearance which is slightly taller than average even for a dual fan cooler. My Montech Air 900 Mesh only has a 165mm clearance however the tempered glass side gives that extra .5mm. Keep in mind however, many mid tower cases only offer 160mm clearance for CPU cooler height. Always check your case allowances before committing to a purchase.

This cooler has been in my build for 3 months now from 09/18 - 12/18 (today), and it's still running well. Things to look out for: 1) Make sure you have room. It is a large cooler that almost touches the glass of my case. I had to move my ram to accommodate this cooler. (My ram sticks are admittedly really tall..) 2) The mounting brackets align when the thumbscrews are tightened in a criss-cross order. I had to unmount it the first time because I did the lazy thing and tightened them clockwise. (The last thumbscrew did not align because I was lazy) 3) The lights are ARGB, not RGB. The plugs are different. I did not notice this when I ordered it, but thankfully the included ARGB controller worked for me, so I did not have to return it. 4) The instructions are more pictures than words. I didn't run into any problems, but I see how some of the pictures may be confusing. 5) The fans are not dead silent. There is a gentle hum, especially when gaming. I don't find this distracting, but if you need a totally silent cooler, then there are other options for silent air coolers, such as a noctua. For the price I paid (just shy of $60), I'm happy with this cooler's performance and looks.

Great product. Solid CPU cooler for the price. RGB is addressable, not as bright as I thought it would be but that is subjective. Push-pull config keeps my CPU temps under control even under load. Noise level is very, very tolerable. No problems at all other than the installation which is a pain. Had to remove my MOBO out of the case to install this. Overall, still a good buy. Recommended!

I was not sure if going with this over a water cooler was a good idea, but the 5800x AMD Rysen 7 I am using remains productive under solid load, so I am happy not to have to deal with water cooling related headaches!

Having the four screwheads underneath the cooler fan and fins was a terrible design. The little "wrench" was too small to push the screwhead down against the spring. I spent over an hour getting the four screws to push down enough to catch the thread. In the future, I will scrutinize the exact configuration and read the instructions before buying a CPU cooler.
