  • Great Upgrade for the Cost
Style: Hyper 212 RGB Black
I've been running an i7-2700k for years as Intel has failed to provide any strong reason for me to upgrade but in all that time I've had the Intel stock cooler on it. About six months ago I switched to this cooler and what a huge difference! My CPU operating temperatures tumbled dramatically from their previous highs all and this cooler barely breaks a sweat. At idle, the CPU never leaves room temperature by more than a couple degrees. It is also much quieter than the Intel stock cooler and combined with my 200mm case fans, the overall system now makes a much more ear pleasing low pitched hum rather than the jet like buzz cutting through from the old cooler. With the drastically increased thermal performance, I went ahead and overclocked up to 4.2GHz and am still running lower temperatures than I was with the stock cooler at 3.5Ghz. ... show more

  • Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition Cooling System
Style: Hyper 212 RGB Black
This CPU cooler has worked just as I had hoped. It does the job of cooling the CPU and it is very quiet and efficient. In fact, I am so pleased that I ordered another for my newest build. I do not use my PCs for gaming, only for business.

  • Great product
Style: Hyper 212 RGB Black
Great cooler, cpu runs almost 15c cooler at idle, easy install just take your time

  • Excellent cooler, okay instructions, sketchy fan attachment
Style: Hyper 212 Black
Purchased and installed the black edition. Pros: Excellent performance for the money. This is definitely a top bang-for-the-buck cooler. Cons: 1. Instructions give you the gist of how installation goes, but skip over enough to leave you scratching your head a few times. Had to refer to YouTube creators to fill in some gaps. 2. The spring wire fan retention clips are not very snug. They are supposed to snap into grooves cut into the fins, but the grooves are very shallow, so minimal movement of the fan or clips will cause them to pop out of the channels. If the grooves were 5mm deeper and 2mm farther back, it would be fare more secure. Overall this is a recommend fro me. Hopefully Cooler Master can use my criticisms constructively. ... show more

  • Definite results almost immediately
Style: Hyper 212 RGB Black
I used to have a ThermalTake utx100 on my cpu and even when running less quality games, my temps would hit a crispy 95C and idle at 40-45C. After replacing with this cooling fan, the same games let me run at a cool 65C and idles between 25-35C. Hottest it has capped out on is 75C. Attaching this to your motherboard and cpu is extremely easy, just make sure you know what is compatible with your board. ... show more

  • After a decade still a great cooler.
