This beautiful dark turquoise cooler backk does everything it advertises & more! I've purchased a few similar cooler bags; however, was disappointed & often returned them for not living up to their word. THIS BAG IS EVERYTHING! It really is a tall cooler bag that will hold 24 of the typical USA12-oz beverage cans (sodas, beers), and still leaves room in the top for packing a lunch. There's a cargo net in the top/underside of the zippered lid that has a nice elastic band that secures the net close to the lid & keeps items tucked inside. ๐ The waterproof & fairly heavy duty cooler liner is sewn in nicely- no harsh chemical smells, no weird puckers or tight spots (it actually has more material for those times the cooler gets over stuffed and the sidewalls & seams won't get stressed ๐๐), the seams are straight, finished well, it's actually water tight, and durable thread was used. The zippers around the top & front pocket slide nicely without getting hung up or jerking when the cooler walls aren't taught. ๐ I appreciate the double zippers on top which makes it easier to open from whatever angle I'm coming at it from. The front pocket is convenient as well with a cargo net & several elastic loops for eating/serving utensils, or some tools (pens/pencils/markers/paint brushes, sportsman gear - fishing tackle pieces like hook remover, sheathed fillet or pocket knife, etc.). I've managed to keep several items in this narrow/kinda flat pocket & have been surprised at how much it can haul without looking overstuffed & puckered. I also like the outter adjustable black cargo netting on top & on the front side of the zip pocket (down center front of bag), it has a nice elastic stretch, cargo cords are easy to get over top of bulky items, easy to adjust positions and ratchet down tight. I do put a slip knot behind the cargo net toggles to be sure they hold their position tight (items I lock under the cargo nets on the outside of bag can be weighty & I don't want to unceremoniously dump anything off). I also really like the quality of the webbed strap material the maker used - stitched & looped down the sides of the front center pocket; it's perfect for tying things to w/o becoming too unbalanced (cooler backpack still fits my back & hips w/o becoming uncomfortable & pulling me over [I'm petite]); my bag usually has 2 combination locks clicked on; these heavy locks haven't warped the webbing, haven't pulled any stitching when hanging/swinging around, and I like how easy it is to access! Additionally, the webbing for the handles is the same quality, and I like that there are several handles you can choose from: padded shoulder backpack straps (well done!), there's a webbing strap at the top-center of the shoulder straps, and finally, there's are webbing straps that are stitched to either side of the zipper lid w/a convenient padded velcro pad that folds around both straps to protect your hands when you lift the potentially heavy cooler back pack off the ground! ๐ I like the side pockets are cargo nets with buckle straps above. Being a short busty woman, I especially appreciate the straps that click closed between the padded shoulder backpack straps, and it easily adjusts to size (even one-handed). I absolutely recommend this bag and give it 5-*'s! It's great, and has all the aspects I wanted in a travel soft-sided cooler backpack! This bag FULFILLS SO MANY OF MY NEEDS! I've been looking for a specific bag that doesn't smell, and is large enough (yet dimensions somewhat small) to haul back and forth to the GYM FOR MY WET ITEMS! When I go to the club, I spend a few hours working out, swimming, sauna-cold shower rounds, and then shower clean. For some reason, my home club location doesn't have hooks on the walls to hang towels/suits, so I desperately needed something to keep my items dry & off the gross wet gym & locker room floors - and this attractive dark turquoise backpack cooler does it & protects everything I want it to! At the gym I usually end up with 2 wet swim suits (aerobic swimming & sauna), 2 large wet towels (swim/sauna & shower) in the side cargo netting pockets & securely buckled into place (fits perfectly!), 2 pairs of wet shoes (pool & shower), plus a fat swim goggles case, and a long & chunky stroke-trainer snorkel w/head gear. I keep fresh underclothes within the cargo net in the top of the cooler (actually stay dry hanging above any wet items), and the front pocket holds & protects my stick deodorant, hair pick, flat shaped full sized shampoo & conditioner, body wash, and lotion. As if the cooler capacity & auxilary components weren't enough to make me over-the-top, I'm even happier to find that after putting this into service on my wet gym/locker room floor, there was no dye run off, and even better, this back DRIES OFF FAST! And dry items stay dry, and wet items stay wet (without soaking through the backpack cooler bag). I was prepared to throw it into the laundry along with all my wet gym clothes & towels; however, by the time I got home, there was no longer a wet footprint left behind, and the bottom was completely dry! The poly-woven outter material does breathe & dried easily. I was surprised because it got really wet when I showered: I just flipped the front pocket down at the edge of the shower, and reached in for whatever item I needed. The front pocket got soaked & with the wet items inside, I needed to either wash it or dry it out. All I did to completely dry it out was to open it up wide & set it on the dryer while I laundered the rest of my gym clothes on "ultra low" heat, & this bag dried via secondary low heat, so the air doesn't need to be hot to dry this backpack cooler out. I will put it through the laundry occasionally (definitely add 1/4 C baking soda to laundry soap to sanitize it after gym floor exposure). This cooler backpack fits perfectly turned sideways within the standard gym locker- even with my oversized winter coat, large purse, and another gym bag that fits my court shoes, workout clothes, tennis clothes, etc. This cooler backpack deserves 10 stars!!!

This is a terrific cooler bag! It has a tremendous amount of space in the main pocket with another fairly large capacity pocket on the front. Leak proof even when using regular ice to keep items cold. Versatile use for camping, the zoo, the childrens museum, a picnic after a hike, etc. Also works great as a mama milk bag!

We have used this on a road trip twice. We love the fact that it does not leak after the ice starts melting in the cooler part, and we can fit what we need in it. This is absolutely a good quality backpack, and every function on it works as expected. I actually kinda wonder where this thing has been all my life - it's great. I'm quite happy with it and definitely recommend.
