Don’t waste your money on this one. Cannot get any of my transfers to work in hats with this equipment. Difficult to maneuver. Does not seem to work at all. Heats up by that’s about all it does.

Nice sturdy device Heats up rather fast and has a safety feature that turns it off after 10 minutes of not using The shape is perfect for visors and ball caps The only thing to watch out for is ghosting if your sublimating But overall I am very pleased with the press and would recommend it

I've been in the game of DIY projects for a while, and when it comes to hat customization, this COOL KNIGHT Mini Heat Press is solid. It's got three heat settings, making it pretty versatile, and the arched ceramic-coated plate ensures an even press. There is some disconnect between the device and the medium used. While there is some mention of the temperature range and the the requirements of the transfer paper, getting them to align when used on an untried surface is sketchy. This creates a bit of a "trial and error" experiment that can result in a wasted hat. The unit itself is small and solid. The holding base is a nice addition as there would otherwise be no place to put it while in use. The light on the unit is somewhat helpful but the double use of a single color makes it difficult to know if it is on Low or Medium. At least the High setting is a different color. Oddly, the very brief instruction manual states there are three different colors - and last minute change in manufacturing no doubt. The transfer stand has adjustments to allow it to be taller or shorter to accommodate the hat size. While the holding base is a safe place to place the unit while it is not in use, it does get hot and I placed a towel underneath just to make sure it didn't affect the countertop. Lastly, the power/selection button is far too easy to trigger when trying to hold the unit down to transfer. A few times I managed to turn it off or change the setting mid-transfer. I suggest trying a few transfers on an old t-shirt before stepping up to a hat. Even then, start with less time and increase as necessary. ... show more

Love this hat press. Just as good if not better than the name brands at a lower cost. Love the stand included to put the hat on as you press. You can use it on other things too, the curve helps press odd shaped items. You will love it.
