I LOVE these mixing bowls. They stack together for easy storage, clean easily, and they go through the dishwasher fine. I was looking for some sturdy mixing bowls that weren’t glass/ceramic because those things are just so heavy and I have a bad shoulder. Lifting them over and over again made me not want to even bake. Using plastic bowls isn’t really an option because plastic gets little micro scratches that store bacteria so no thank you. These fit the bill. I needed to replace some mixing bowls and thought I'd try some stainless steel ones. Typically I use plastic ones but I'm redoing my kitchen in white/black/grey and stainless seemed like an interesting choice. This set was fairly inexpensive and had a good variety of sizes, I figured I'd find a use for them even if I didn't like them. They showed up pretty quick and my initial reaction was disappointment in how small, thin and lightweight they were, I have butter knives that weigh more than most of the bowls. I initially used them in making some instant pudding and immediately realized the shallowness was a problem as my hand mixer couldn't possibly be submerged sufficiently to not splatter mix everywhere. The sizes weren't listed but they're definitely smaller than I had hoped so these have become salad, snack and popcorn bowls for the kids to use. These are more like prep bowls than mixing bowls but my kids will use them for cereal or snacks. ... show more

I really wanted to love these. The propertied sizes were perfect and it wasn’t plastic and the color scheme matched my kitchen. But it just wasn’t happening. First, they’re incredibly shallow. I’d call them prep bowls or serving dishes before calling them mixing bowls. Second, they’re so light and tinny. It’s like they’re made from soda cans. The outer surface feels like camping dishes.
