    • Lightweight and great for weekend traveling

I bought the standard sized grey-blue backpack for traveling as my carry-on item. The color is very cute but might get dirty over time since it's a light color. I've been using a North Face backpack for years to travel with before I bought this one. This one is much roomier and has so many pockets and it fits perfectly under an airplane seat with room leftover!. The previous backpack I used was a lot heavier too even without anything in it. There's a laptop sleeve and a compartment for shoes which is a huge plus. FYI if you use the shoe compartment, there will be less room in the backpack. The water bottle holder is tiny as I couldn't fit a slim water bottle in it so I just used it as another pocket. You can even plug in a portable charger to the backpack. I connected a portable charger in the inside of the backpack and was able to connect a USB-A charging cable in the port on the outside of the backpack to charge my phone with easy access without having to take the portable charger out. You cannot use a USB-C cable with this backpack (USB-A ports only)! Make sure the portable charger also has a USB-A input to connect to the backpack. I haven't tested out the water resistance with the material on the backpack yet but I think the material is pretty durable. I was able to fit at least 3 outfits and a toiletry bag + other small items in the various pockets. I highly recommend this backpack for weekend traveling/traveling light! If you need more room, I would get the larger size (pretty sure it can also fit under an airplane seat). ... show more

I wasn't sure what level of quality I would get from this due to the price but bought it based on the reviews. I was pleasantly surprised. The zippers seem very sturdy and it holds quite a lot. We bought for a cruise trip and they worked perfectly. They are sized so they fit within airline size restrictions as a personal item so you can fit them under seat and take a carry on. They were handy for shore excursions for use as a day pack especially the compartment for wet items/shoes. The straps are padded well enough to be comfortable when stuffed full. I also like the strap that allows you to hang it off the handle of your rolling carry-on. Family members on our trip liked them so much we gifted some for Christmas. Loved the space and compartments of this bag. It's absolutely as advertised, durable and packed a lot of room for so many things. It can even fit under an airline seat in a pinch as long as it's not TOO stuffed. I loved being able to put my laptop in the bag and all he little books and crannies for storing things. The shoe bag is a nice addition but does take up some room inside, so have to be strategic if packing for many days. Loved that the water bottle holder stretches easily even with a fully packed bag. The luggage handle strap is also an added bonus if you're hauling a roller bag as well. A great value for the price. Happy traveler! ... show more

I ordered a standard size bag in the peacock color. The bag came in two days as expected (which was awesome). The color is great and looks like the picture. I'm planning on using it for a work trip so I love the separate space for my laptop and other work essentials that I'll be bringing with me. The bag looks solid and of decent quality - especially for the price. Perfect for a trip where you are packing lightly although I'm sure I can fit a great deal of my stuff in this bag because it has a functional & practical design. The only downside is that when I started opening the pockets, I discovered some grit (almost like sand). I was hopeful that it was just tiny beads of plastic or something as the thought crossed my mind that this could have been previously used. I ignored that thought because I've never had that experience from ordering off Amazon and figured I was probably wrong. Unfortunately for me, after checking out all the interior pockets, I looked in the water bottle holder and it had a pair of dirty socks in it! 😭 I wish I could return it to get (hopefully) a new one, but I won't have enough time… 😫 I usually don't wait last minute to order in case of an issue like this but I couldn't decide between 3 other bags. I guess getting a new one would be wasteful as there really isn't anything wrong with it, but I was just disappointed when I found the dirty socks. Also keep in mind that when I received this bag it was plastic wrapped, so someone should have noticed the socks and cleaned it out before re-selling… Usually I wipe down all my stuff with a clorox wipe but tonight I will be taking some time to thoroughly disinfect each compartment & pocket. 😫 4/5 due to an unclean bag that had dirty socks in it. ... show more

This is the second one I’ve purchased; the first was for myself, and this one is a gift for my boyfriend. The backpack is perfect for use as a personal item on planes, as it meets the allowed dimensions, and the best part is that it fits a ton of stuff – and I say this as someone who tends to overpack when traveling. Clothes, shoes, cosmetics, personal items, compartments for your laptop and electronic devices, and even a waterproof compartment. This is really a great bad. High-quality materials, it is professional enough to bring in a meeting, is super water resistant, and holds a ton. It stands up on its own and is carry-on compliant. If I were to make this perfect I would add another water bottle holder to the other side instead of the charging port (and move that to the top or back). I would also like to see the exact same bag in a slightly smaller form for my wife or just as a slightly smaller option. As it is, this is my overnight or weekend bag but a smaller version would make it my day bag (If you have books or a larger load this would be perfect). In a perfect world, I would also add a slot for a hydration tube and a couple of hidden loops for attachment. You really would have the perfect do it all bag then.
