These days, my workouts aren't in a gym, but in the home of my caregiving client. It's extremely physical work! And...well...okay, I do get outside and walk at least 2.5 miles per day, and occasionally do some running. Not bad for an old guy. No matter what I'm doing, I need the right clothing. That's where these shirts come in. Let's start at the beginning: when I unpacked them, they, like nearly everything these days, were in a vacuum-sealed pack. Once out, I couldn't help but notice that the single tag, easily removed and not pinned or stitched to the short, also included a spare couple of buttons! Yes, buttons. The collar actually has a button down collar. Great to undo on a hot day, or if you don't want to mash your hair. While pulling it on, I noticed a distinct lack of light, telling me that these have a decent thread count; they're not see through. The sleeveless design doesn't restrict arm movement, and since my side job is doing massage therapy, it's great to work in as well. Any kind of upper body routines are easily done. It wicks moisture well, and should be comfortable on hot days. On cold days, it makes a perfect base layer up under a sweater or heavier shirt. The seams are solid, the fit is loose without being baggy and it comes down well past the waist. Not only is the button down collar functional, but adds a dash of style! I only have one negative comment: there is a rather stiff, almost plastic feeling tag on the inside of the shirt that feels terrible when it comes in contact with skin! It's far enough down that it probably won't be a problem for most, but if you tuck it in as a base layer, you might be itchy there. So the first thing I noticed about this shirt is that it is very comfortable. Its soft to the touch and very silky-feeling. The color and size is also very accurate. That being said, why the buttons on the front though? It makes no sense, looks funny, but ultimately doesn't ruin the quality of the product by any means, which is sub- par. 1st of all, I do like these sleeveless shirts and I do plan to use them for multiple occasions. The fabric is cool to the touch and they have a slight stretch to them. These will be perfect for me when I head to the gym for a few pick up, bball games and when I hit the weights after... In addition, these will make great fishing shirts for me as well. fyi, I am 5'7 and 155lbs and the size Small fits me more like a M/L so please keep that in mind. ... show more
