The size chart included as a pop-up said I'd need an XXL, but the Amazon Size Bot said "Large will fit you best based on millions of customer orders, returns, and reviews", and the picture with the size chart said a Large would fit a chest up to 48.7 inches. I have a 47.5 inch chest, and the Large DOES FIT perfectly. The fabric is a little bit weird for me -- kind of a knit with a very-fine texture. (My cat loves it -- he curled right up in it when I took it off after trying it on!) However, I am afraid that his claws would easily hook into the texture if I picked him up while wearing it -- the texture would easily accept his claws, and would probably pull threads when he tried to be extracted from it, so that's a limitation from my point of view (cats are more permanent parts of our lives than shirts are!). It's too heavy of a garment to be a shirt. It does have a nice feeling (the inside is smooth, not textured), but I will probably wear it as a "cover shirt" -- a heavier shirt covering over a T-Shirt, that can be left unbuttoned or can be buttoned up when a chill hits the air in the evenings of a nice fall day. (It's not really heavy enough to count it as a "Jacket"). This "Cover Shirt" concept is what I had in mind when I ordered this thing. Had I wanted a Jacket or a dressy shirt, I'd have been disappointed. But I am very pleased with this garment because it has the rougher look with the texture (in the old days, I would have worn a flannel shirt for a cover shirt -- this is a new-fangled equivalent to the old fashioned flannel shirt). I give it a full 5 stars! We'll see if we can wear it awhile before the cat tears it up too much!

This shirt delivers the goods as specified.. I downgraded the evaluation because it arrives in a vacuum packed bag that creases the shirt completely such that it demands pressing before wearing. The creases do not 'hang out' as advertised .

I like this casual shacket shirt for wearing on cool days and in the fall. This material is comfortable and strong. It can be worn with a t-shirt for added warmth or as is . This will look great for an older teenage or an adult man of all ages.
