I like how the jacket is longer and comes down past the waist. It’s nice and am warm and has lost of pockets. Recommended If you enjoy the outdoors and want to stay warm.

Like others have stated, it has an odd quasi military front left breast, a quasi military patch on the right shoulder. Both patches look horrible, removed both. Funny enough, the right shoulder patch looks like the military run, Challenge juvenile rehabilitation program's emblem. Otherwise very warm jacket with tons of pockets. First time ever ordering clothes online. Did because I had too, I was working 7 days living in a tropical swamp and needed a jacket for cold weather due too last minute travel arrangements. Nothing is available at the local stores. I received nothing but compliments on how the jacket looks from multiple people asking me where I purchased it. Last week in December 2022 it was cold too. As a back up just in case, I bought 2 battery powered hand warmers. I was light comfortable and perfect in below freezing weather. Sizing is spot on. Not sure what to expect I purchased based on my height and weight not knowing but fit perfectly buy according to your size the jacket is spot on. Plenty of pockets rechargeable hand warmers a dress shirt I was toasty warm, i looked good and felt comfortable not weighed down, wish I didn't live in a swamp I'm looking forward to wearing it more. ... show more

I was honestly expecting this jacket to not keep me as warm as it does so I was genuinely surprised when the temperature dipped down into the low 20-30F that it held up. And by far this is the most comfortable jacket I have and seems to look good in both a casual and work environment. I like the look. The fit is good. The patches were very cheap and juvenile looking. The zipper could be better quality. Would have given better rating other than the patches and zipper.

This is a pretty good copy of an old-fashioned army field jacket, but is lined with polyester fleece that makes it warmer without adding weight or bulk. It has a field jacket's ease of movement, pockets, length, and durability without its chilliness. Two downsides: It has silly chest and shoulder patches suitable for a small child playing war. Three minutes with a sharp paring knife disposed of them. If you zip the hood off the collar is pretty drafty. You'll want a scarf. Still, it's an improvement on a classic.
