This had the potential to be a really great product, but it is poorly designed with two major flaws. First, the positives. The pipe material is thick and sturdy, and the shower head is a good size with a nice amount of rotation at the neck, meaning you can angle it how you like easily. They provide a variety of pipe sizes so that you can adjust the height of the shower for your own bathroom; very great. The concept is great. (We are trying to create a shower for a clawfoot tub without destroying the tiled wall by having to access the internal plumbing.) But we won't be able to use it because of two major design flaws. One - the tub spout provided is angled slightly downward. The shower pipe attaches to the top plane of the tub spout. So essentially the pipe is at a right angle to the tub spout, but because the tub spout angles down, this puts the pipe away from your wall at about a 25-30 degree angle. It looks terrible, but even if you were willing to live with it that way, there's no way to anchor it to the wall with the anchor provided. You'd have to invent something. Second - the shower pipe screws in to the inside of the tub spout through a hole in the top of the tub spout. Despite being extremely gentle and NOT overtightening it, the piece of metal that threads into the plastic piece inside the tub spout immediately broke. This indicates that the narrow piece of threaded metal that screws down into the tub spout is extremely weak. The tub spout itself is also made of a cheap, plastic-y feeling material. It should be a thicker, stronger metal, and if it were made to come out of the wall in a position horizontal to the floor, it wouldn't create the first problem. Overall I'm super disappointed, because the concept itself is exactly what I needed. It just needs to have some pretty basic corrections. If anyone out there knows of a company that makes a better version, please let me know.

This converter kit is perfect for those old claw foot tubs and this one is very tall, I did g even use all the sections because it would’ve hit the ceiling. I used a different short head though so I can’t comment on that part
