This came in the other day, and was sitting on my porch. The box was beat to hell. I expected damage but upon opening, the inside had nice big chunks of foam. The packaging was great and prevented any damage to the unit. The actual product is easy to assemble. The instructions are clear, and it took about an hour. Everything fit together and it uses good quality fasteners. (Cam locks, dowels, glue, etc. are all provided. You just need a phillips head screwdriver.) I really didn't expect much out of a TV stand at this price point but it ended up being as good as some I've paid 2-3X as much for. I'd buy this again. Sturdy good unit. I'm surprised. ... show more

Picked this out for my daughter's bedroom. Overall a well-thought out, clever design. It is made out of low quality chipboard, I wish there was a plywood option. Would be willing to may more for that. The instructions are pretty bad, and the parts are sometimes mislabled. This, paired with the glue-in dovels, makes for mistakes that are hard to undo. Once you glued together the pieces incorrectly, it is difficult to take them apart. So it may be useful to dry fit the pieces. Especially need to ay attention to the door handle (double) holes, and the shelf mounting ( triple) holes in the middle, make sure these face the right way. There is a little ferrous metal bracket to stick to the magnetic latch, this goes under the (bottom position) mounting screw of the door handle. The actual door mounting "hinges" r are (axially) spring loaded, this is not obvious ... show more

The packaging needs some improvement because the back board was bent and one of its corner broke off upon arrival, and one of the silver poles was bent, but luckily everything else survived. Also, you will have to screw six to nine holes to attach the back panel since the panel and the stand have no pre-drilled holes. Despite all of that, this stand was fun/easy to assemble with very clear instructions, and I didn’t need any help except someone to hold up the panel as I drilled the holes. Tv stand was okay to put together I'm small and I'm a woman I was about to put it together by myself. Only issue I had was the back piece with the circle it did not fit or have holes to screw in the screws. So I went without it, still looks good. Oh.. one more issue the left draw didn't have the holes for the magnet so that draw isn't operable, only the right one works. So beware when buying you might get a good box you might get a bad box, I still made it work but this should cost $60. Looks expensive but some pieces did not work. *my tv is a 55 inch and it fit perfectly. ... show more

Absolutely in love with this tv stand. Easy to assemble (just watch how you put up panels 3,4, &5) one of mine were backwards so I was unable to insert the magnet for one of the doors. You want the magnets in the front, keep that in mind because you glue the wooden dowels so you’re not able to take it apart to fix it once complete. Boards are very strong & steady. I needed a white TV stand that sat lower to the ground and was wide enough to fit inside a specific area, this was perfect. I was concerned becasue of the whole "You get what you pay for" saying, but it was easy to put together, it is pretty sturdy, holds what I need it to hold and looks nice not cheap.
