Smooth and supple for minimal rolling resistance. Comes folded in a box. This set came with 2 tires packaged individually and wrapped together in an outer clear bag. Love the all-black look (as opposed to colored walls on other tires). The lettering is gray with yellow accents. and appears only once on each side of the tire. Has clear markings of size, PSI, and BAR. Also bears the e25 badge, indicating it's rated to use with e-bikes with a 16-25mph speed rating. Rolling resistance of just 14.1 watts and excellent wet surface grip make this an excellent tire for the price, and a good all-around performer for enthusiasts and commuters. Amazon is great for buying bicycle accessories without the bike store markup, particularly for this two-pack. These are foldable name brand tires (Continental has been around more than a century) that serve well for the price. Continental has an extensive tire line depending on how much you are willing to spend. Being entry level, don't expect the puncture protection you would get with the Top Contact II or the Gatorskin. As advertised they do grip well, handy for Minnesota winters. Getting that last bit in the rim during mounting can be difficult as they fit tight. I manage it with a thin edged tire lever. I did notice a small divot in the rubber, a manufacturing blemish I expect won't affect performance. ... show more

I've been riding these for years now, I also have gp5000s for special stuff but these are a hidden gem! Quality and just a hair more rolling resistance and wt. Amazing trade off for the price. Put a set of latex tubes in there or even tpu and they will surprise you.

Update 04/2025- after 1400 miles, I've started getting flats. I haven't changed anything and am riding my typical routes. I cannot say for sure that the tire is wearing out. However, this most recent flat left me stranded about a 1.5 miles from home. I rode the flat tire home, no other option. I forgot I used my spare tube on last week's flat. I compromised the sidewall riding on the flat tire. Not the tires fault. Not designed to operate without air. I believe after 1400 miles the casing is beginning to wear. These are made in China Continental tires. Continental's better tires are made in Germany. I suggest spending the extra money over these tires. I bought likely the cheapest Continental Tire you could buy for a bicycle. I have had zero flats in several hundred miles. Maybe closer to 1000 miles. That's all I expected. A not heavy, durable tire. I ride on the shoulder of country highways littered with debris. Tire is holding up well enough I am considering leaving my flat repair kit at home. ... show more
