No better tire for a road bike. Just remember to keep squeezing them to the middle while working the around the wheel. Cuts down on the profanity. Also add just enough air to make the tube round before installing.

Exceptional tires. Have several sets mounted on slightly upgraded mid 1980’s road bikes and the felt efficiency increase is very noticeable. They roll fast, stick well and are very durable. I will never buy any other tire than Continental.

These are performance tires that ride fast. A little harsher ride than my old Mavic tires but they are supposed to be more resistant to flat. They were harder to put on my clincher rims than my old Mavics or the Armadillos on my other bike. These 700-25 tires were about the same size as my old 700-23 Mavics. ... show more

I've ridden on a lot of tire brands over the years, but, with the number of miles I ride, I like trusting the components on the bike that really impact safety. Tires are one of those and these are the most reliable, safest tires I've ever used. They grab the road like no other tire, they seem to last longer than other premium brands and they seem to have fewer failures. Other brands have particular good qualities (Vittoria is reliable and have a good ride,...but I don't find they last very long...other brands are fast, but feel less grabby and they don't last long.). In the end, I've always found the GP5000s are a great compromise of great feel, durability, and long lasting. They certainly have my business. ... show more
