First off let me say that Contigo is my go-to brand for water bottles and they are worth every penny. They are the ONLY brand that NEVER leaks on me; I routinely throw my West Loop bottle (yes, even with coffee) into my LV Neverfull without a worry about spills. I bought this Huron model for my carry-on hand luggage/backpack which has a side pocket for a water bottle. When I’m traveling it hurts my heart to spend so much money at the airport to buy single-use plastic bottled water, so I always carry a Contigo with me. I need my travel bottle to be lightweight, leakproof, easy to use/refill and easy to clean. When I’m on the road, I find the flop lock of the Huron easier to manage than models where I have to push a button or unscrew a cap to drink. The wider mouth makes refilling at water fountains really easy and makes adding ice cubes painless especially compared to narrow mouthed brands like Swell. The wide mouth also means I can get my hand into the whole bottle to scrub if I’m going back and forth between coffee and water in one travel bottle. The Huron also has a very simple lid with very few moving parts, so I feel better about being able to get it really clean when I need to wash on the go and don’t have access to a dishwasher to sanitize. It’s also metal so my water doesn’t end up with a coffee aftertaste, which is vital traveling when you’re using just one bottle for the whole trip. The only slight downside is that the Hurons relatively thinner lid does allow for the tiniest bit of condensation to form on the plastic lid if you‘ve got ice inside the bottle and it’s a really hot day out. This is not the case with Contigos other models that have thicker lids, but that’s a trade-off I’d make every time to reduce bulk/weight and make cleaning easier when traveling.

This cup is fantastic I have the 16 oz one!! It doesn't leak whatsoever it is have feeling but fits my car cup holders and the spout to drink out of flows perfectly gives you plenty of liquid like any normal cup would. I know there are other reviews on here about this cup saying it leaks and the spout isn't big enough to drink out of and maybe theres honestly did BUT mine works great and I have no reason whatsoever to make that up meaning not being paid to post a good review. Definitely will be purchasing the 20 oz one in the near future!! I purchased the 16 oz white marble one!!

I love these. We own at least six of these and they are totally leakproof. I have thrown every other brand of water bottle out and now stick with the snap seal exclusively. My kids have used them everyday for years and just recently replaced because we had totally worn them out after two years. I do wish they sold the lids separately as a replacement. The cup itself can go in the dishwasher over and over again, but I found that the lids do eventually wear out, especially if placed in the dishwasher often.

I bought this to replace a 20 oz one which was actually a little bit too big for me. The 20 oz one is still good but it had gotten pretty banged up over the last few years so I figured it was time for a replacement. I would definitely buy another one if needed.
