So overall this is a great kennel for a mischievous dog. I have a Belgian Malinois and she’s an escape artist. The top is my only issue due to the lock easily being vibrated open as it’s only a slide lock. So I had to put heavy duty zip ties around the top so she couldn’t pop it open. Sucks not being able to reach in from the top, but the rest of the cage is fast and easy to set up. I did it alone with no help in under 10 minutes. We have a large dog that destroyed his last crate. This crate has been great! He has not been able to chew due to the spacing. The locks are simple and effective. The crate is built well and a dog that chews shouldn’t get out of this one. The door on mine is a slight bit warped and you have to push on it when latching it. The tray on the bottom also doesn’t secure well. It falls off easily. I put a dog bed in it and he doesn’t complain about it. My pet adapted well to it from a wire cage. I’ve heard horror stories of pets pushing their way out of wire cage doors and their heads get wedged and it kills them or harms them. I don’t see that happening with this unit the way it’s constructed. It is fairly big. It looks kind of like a Houdini stunt box. :) ... show more

I use two of these as drip-catchers and bottom-watering trays on some racks that I have for growing peppers indoors. They are perfect for that usage — durable, and arrived undamaged. I foster animals for a local rescue and had a 30 lb feral dog the was able to escape anything I tried to put her in. I ordered this and poof, no more escaping. It was simple to put together and because of the design it is fairly easy to disassemble and move. It is a bit heavy for me to take up and down steps but I just had to call in reinforcements and there was no problem at all. I love how the top lifts up to gain access because I can clean out and the crate easier and also catch a pet of her to help get her use to people. Plenty big enough for a bed on one side and pee pads on the other. I use the extra large ones from Chewy and they fit perfectly. It was every easy to clean. I just take out the two pans on the bottom to clean up anything that falls through and wipe ip anything inside that needs cleaned up. And when it needs mote than that I take it outside and hose it down with the power washer. It has a small door at the bottom of the larger door that you can use to put food and water in so your escape artist can't get out. It has helped so much, well worth the expense. ... show more

The first time I put my Belgian Malinois In it…. She broke free! Second time I put her in it (with additional 14 zip ties) She managed to bite / dent and bend the door to where she was almost able to escape again !! Not worth the $$$$$
