I LOVE this little gadget. The first one that I bought had a faulty charging port that was lose and wouldn't take or hold a charge properly. It was very easy and quick to have it replaced for free by Amazon, and the second one that was delivered works perfectly. Pros: - Hot surfaces aren't exposed. I have small children in the house, so this is a major plus for me. - Curling is much simpler and faster than with a traditional iron. I thought the basic mechanism of curling hair around a wand was simple and fast, but with this it's literally just pressing a button and your hair twirls up automatically without any fussing whatsoever. I seem to get through all my hair in about 75% of the time or less than a traditional iron. - No wrist fatigue. - Portability. This is really perfect for travel, or even just tucking in your bag if you have to look amazing for an evening event after work. - Cordless - If you're somewhere where you can't use a plug-in iron and don't want to burn yourself or burn the building down, this is REALLY handy. - Handles long hair -- mine is about elbow length and this handles it just fine. - And finally, the result: Beautiful, shiny smooth curls all the way down to the ends. Cons: - I'm not convinced it really holds a charge for 1.5 hours as claimed. I think it's more like 40 minutes (that's when the battery indicater starts to drop rapidly), but that's plenty more than enough time for me to curl my whole head of hair twice. - The lowest temperature is 320 degrees. Sometimes I like a much lower temperature (240ish) just to smooth out my fine hair without risking so much damage, but this isn't the tool for that. - Less versatile curling options -- This is a pretty versatile machine, but if you're looking to really sculpt your hair into a highly styled look, this will get you about 90% of the way there. I like a vintage wave, and can get that quickly and easily, but the front Veronica Lake peekaboo piece in the front isn't quite as easy to achieve with this. If you are one of those people who likes to leave the ends out of their curls, that might be tricky with this too. Overall, I really just love this machine. It was a splurge for me, but I'm really pleased with it and I feel it was worth the money. ... show more

My daughter is a competitive dancer and we always need quick changes. This curling iron works perfectly. We can throw it in the bag. It holds a long charge and is easy to use. There is a little learning curve with it. It definitely works best when hair is well brushed. If there are tangles it can snag a bit so I just brush out the strands before I put them in. This tool makes curling your hair 100x easier, however the battery life is not long at all. If you have thick hair, it may need to be charged again in the middle of you doing your hair.

It’s so easy to use! I don’t have any issues with my hair getting caught but I have chin length hair. It didn’t take long to feel like I knew what I was doing when using it. My only “issue” is I have to charge after a couple of uses but it isn’t enough of an issue not to love it! I love that you can’t burn yourself! And it’s easier to curl the back of my head because I don’t have to worry about burns. It did take a few tries to get the back cuz it’s too short to bring to front to “see” the hair but I got it done 😂 I’m not an expert by any means but I’m enjoying this curler! I do notice - for my hair at least - it works better at curling if I haven’t put it back before I try to curl. ... show more

So I'll address some things I've read. It took about 20 minutes to do my whole head. This is the result from the first use. When I was done I had three bars still left on the battery so the battery was no problem at all. Someone said something about their hair getting tangled. I did my whole head with not a trouble one time. So this thing is great!! No cord makes it even greater! I hate cords! I thought well I might come out looking a little crazy but my first time out it turned out just the way I wanted it to. All I need is a three-way mirror or one of those accordion mirrors so I can actually hold my hair and the curler at the same time to see the back of my head. But that would be true for anything that you're using on the back of your head. I read reviews of other ones and I had another one that was the tulip looking one. I forget what it's called but it's pretty big and cumbersome. Actually. I do have some layers in my hair and I was afraid maybe it wouldn't work because my hair wouldn't be long enough because all the videos have videos of girls with long hair but it was no problem at all. I LOVE this product! I've only had an issue once with it and that was the first time I used it. It'll beep three times if you've tried to put too much hair in it. Once you press start you'll hold it down while it wraps your hair. Once all your hair is in it'll start beeping for however many seconds you want. Once it's done it'll beep twice you'll release the start button then press it again and it'll reveal beautiful curls. It usually takes me 15 minutes to curl my whole head. I have used it in my car when I was running SUPER late which officially made it my hero 😂 It's incredibly easy to use and absolutely AMAZING for travel! I've only had issues with my hair getting stuck the very first time I used it (still not sure what happened since I've never had the same issue again). It didn't reject my hair like it usually does. Somehow my hair got stuck and I had to hold start again. It beeped 3 times to let me know there was way too much unmanageable hair then spit it all out. Thankfully I didn't lose any hair from that experience it just scared me😅 I also didn't let that one bad experience scare me away from the product. After that first day I've used it A LOT and I've never had that same experience. It was definitely a user error and not the product (in my case at least, I can't speak for others since everyone's hair is different).
