Nice kit, but when hooking wires to the Audrino board for PWM signals, the labels are misleading because the labels are not aligned perfectly Pin 9 looks like it Pin 10 etc.

Once we were able to access the instructions, this has provided a lot of great creativity and learning time for our son. We have used many of the circuit kits that are more snap and work but this has given a lot of hands on experiences to truly wire and work through solutions. Great purchase!

Like the contents but dislike unavailabity of any instructions for use. For a starter, this is very difficult to use and follow. I will use this as a hobby kit for later engineering application once I get to learn more about it.

    • Excellent Arduino electronics kit
The kit is excellent - I did not know it was based on the Arduino microprocessor, but that is a big big plus! There are many interesting and useful electronic parts, with breadboards and a reasonably well-written guide (which is good but not perfect).

Amazing! Just got it for my boyfriend as a fun little trinket, he is an electrical engineer but he enjoys working with different arduino systems and it seemed fun for him.

    • Instructions vague, hard to figure out this pile of stuff.
I usually give five star reviews to most of what I buy. Most of what I buy is exactly what I expect. This product is an exception and I don’t recommend it. I selected it because the kit included a stepper motor. And it does include that. My product arrived damaged. A lot of the circuit board pins were bent. I managed to bend them back with a needle nose pliers. The box for this product is too small… everything is jammed together, once you open it, getting the box closed again is difficult. The instructions are very vague. If you were an expert at electronics, yes, you could probably eventually figure out how to do the projects in this kit. If you understood a lot about programming, setup of circuits, how to do all this stuff, you could make progress. Maybe if you were a teacher and you had a lot of expertise, you could coach your students. But if you are a beginner? It will be tough sledding. Maybe the original instructions were written in a different language and translated by someone with no knowledge of electronics. In any case I suggest trying another product. Maybe you can figure stuff out by going on YouTube….. ... show more

    • Fun but not intuitive.
If you are just starting out with electronics, this also requires some programming. Even then it has been hit or miss. The online/ downloadable instructions don’t always match what you see. I’m an IT professional and the components are not super reliable
