This battery box is fairly inexpensive, and the quality reflects this. The aluminum sheet material is thin, the edges are rough, corners are sharp, and the bends are not precise. Included hardware works ok but it's not great, the nuts for example are thin without a lot of threads. Some full size flange nuts would be a lot stronger. Quality issues aside, this is a functional battery box at a very reasonable price. If you are ok with the rough finish and don't need it to be indestructable, it's not a bad buy. I had planned to use this on a trailer to house a battery for an electric tongue jack and winch, but after seeing how thin the aluminum is I decided not to use it and will look for something else. If you are using this in a more protected location it should be fine. ... show more
