    • Pretty darn good for the price

The drills cut very well... The only two things worth mentioning are is to use any type of spray lube to keeps the bits from binding and snapping. Also, the plastic index/holder won't last long but is pretty darn easy to make better. Cheers

Revised Review (6/28/2021) - After my original review (below), the seller contacted me about the problem. They wanted to do whatever was necessary to make things right. They sent me another set of drill bits to replace the "bad" set. I received the replacement set last week. I used several drill bits over the weekend drilling lots of screw holes for shelving & pegboards in my garage. This time I encountered no problems with the drill bits. I am very happy with the replacement set and have revised my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The seller is very reliable. Original Review - I received this set of shanked drill bits on Tuesday, June 8th. Today (June 14th) I selected a shanked drill bit from this new set to use to drill holes to mount brackets in my garage. I was going to drill into pine studs (soft wood). The drill operated for no more than 1 second before the drill bit broke as shown in the attached picture, I then used one of my "normal" drill bits and drilled 12 holes without incident. I did not try any of the other drill bits because - WHY - WHAT WOULD BE THE POINT.? So now I will look around for some box to return this set of JUNK back to Amazon. ... show more

Very happy with this drill bit set. All blades are super sharp and though and have gone through work on some 4x4's, drywall and even some metal and they're still working great. These were exactly what I needed, but have to say, the quality was subpar. So you get what you pay for. Opened the package, and they had an oily residue and were sticky as if they had just been sitting in tree sap. First time I used one, it snapped in half and got stuck in the wood. Let me also mention I wasn't using that much force, just trying to cut through the wood. Not the best for precise drilling, just a heads up. On the plus side, I do like the hex bottoms – they make working with my drill great. ... show more

Works as expected. Nice to have a set of drills I can use for around the house chores instead of lugging around a bin of old drills and digging through them. The hex shank makes it a little easier to secure them in the drill.
