    • The Bits Are OK, The Ratcheting Screwdriver Was Defective--The Replacement Works As It Should

The ratcheting screwdriver / bit holder did not work properly. It was almost impossible to move the ring which changes direction. The ratcheting is very stiff and did not ratchet properly. I returned it for a replacement. I'll wait and see how the replacement works. The bits appear to be okay. They are not of the highest quality, but are suitable for my purposes. 5/18/25 Edited to add: I received the replacement set and the ratcheting screwdriver (bit holding handle) works as it should with no problems. It ratchets smoothly in both direction as well as locks in the non-ratcheting position. The selector ring is easy to turn. I give the entire set a 4 star rating to differentiate it from the higher quality--and much more expensive-- bit sets and ratcheting bit holding handles. However, this bit set and handle is a bargain for those of us who do not require a higher quality and more expensive set. ... show more

Do NOT buy this because it has a case. I like to keep my tools really organized. This case is completely useless. Not one single bit stays in place. They might as well have thrown them in a bag. Otherwise, seems ok. Good assortment for the price.
