What makes this ice maker so nice is how easy it is to use! You can select small or large ice cubes. All you need to do is add water and push the start button. It is a compact countertop ice maker. I recently had my refrigerator ice maker spring a leak which really messed up my flooring. Then worse yet, the shut off water valve was not working. I think this counter top ice maker is all I will use from now on after that disaster. It makes ice quickly and in not too long you will have a basket of ice fairly quick. I just put this ice in a large container and into the freezer and have plenty. I like this method of making ice since I can also use filtered water. This works great.

Review of: Quyndor Ice Maker Machine Countertop 26lbs/24H, Portable Quiet Ice Maker, Cubes in 9PCS/7Min, Self Cleaning, Ice Maker This countertop ice maker can quickly make roughly a handful of small ice cubes per batch. The bullet shaped cubes come out perfect and automatically roll over right into the bin, every 7-8 minutes until the bin is full or the water runs out. The cubes do stay frozen pretty well, but over time they will slowly melt, and the water then drains through to the water reservoir below which is then used to make new cubes. Because of this, the machine is always running. It is not excessively loud, just a small hum as it runs, but then you do hear the ice drop every so often when a new batch comes through. The bin size holds enough ice for a couple of drinks, or a small lunch cooler. The machine is small enough to be stored on the counter without getting in the way too much, unless you are really cramped for space. I really like that I can pour bottled water in to make my cubes instead of using tap water. I live in Florida where all of the water is gross, and I do my best to avoid even filtered tap water (aka what the refrigerator ice maker uses) as much as possible. This machine makes a great alternative.

This ice maker is small and convenient. Included is a handle for easy carry and an ice scoop for ice removal. The machine makes ice extremely fast, with an ice size option (small or large). When the ice isnβt used, the machine will melt it down and reuse the water to continuously create fresh ice. The only issue I have is that it does continuously run and uses a lot of electricity. I will even say that the machine doesnβt create a lot of ice, just enough for a couple of small glasses at a time. This is more of a portable option than a permanent one. For the price I would save your money and invest in a larger machine. I also like that this is an easy clean machine with a plug located on the bottom for draining.

What I like most about the countertop ice maker is it has a low noise level, and it does not have to be connected to a water line to work. I can use it on my end table in my master bedroom. By it being portable I have the option to put the distilled water of my choice in it to give me clean fresh ice. It has great ease of us, the ice cubes are of a perfect size and the functionality is excellent.

The media could not be loaded. I have the Quyndor 26 lbs/day portable icemaker. It is a compact design that can be moved about but it is corded. Within in it is an ice bucket and scoop. It will make ice and keep it frozen until use. It is virtually silent in operation. The interior is smooth plastic and there are no seams to capture bacteria. When the ice making is done, the ice bin was measured at 34.7 Β°F. Nothing seems to be melting so I assume the ice will be there when I need it. The first step is to clean the interior with soap and water. This is easier than it sounds, as there is a bottom drain plug. Just position the Quyndor over a sink and the cleaning is straightforward. The smoothness of the interior surfaces allows everything to drain out. The unit comes with a self-cleaning mode, which I have not figured out. I think with all such water devices, a vinegar flush is needed from time to time. To make ice, just fill the bottom with water. The unit pumps the water to the internal ice maker. When done, a mechanical arm sweeps the ice into the ice bin ready for use. But ice production is glacial meaning very slow. One of my pictures shows the production after an hour. An icemaker on a refrigerator is faster. The Quyndor 26 lbs icemaker is only for 1 or 2 people. You cannot use it for NFL night with your buddies. I like the Quyndor icemaker. It is capacity limited so buyers beware. I give it a B+ rating.
