Works very well, I bought this to use on our food truck. Buying bags of ice per event became a hassle and needed something to keep up with our lemonade demand. I love the dual feed option, 5 gallon tank, or direct water inlet makes life easy. Another big plus is the ice size adjustment as well as the timer feature. Thicker cubes take longer to produce, but you can adjust the thickness for a quicker output, (we use the medium size). The only downside is the ice doesn't store or stay frozen in the bin overnight, but that was known prior to purchase. We use it in Florida, but so far losing ice in the bin has been a non issue. We bag it once the bin is full. Our shows range from anywhere between 4 hours to 12 hours and even with ice sitting in the Florida heat (we usually bag it at the end of the show) we still get about (3) 10lb bags. My only suggestion would be, for first time use, to set the timer to start making ice during the overnight hours, that way you have a full bin ready to go in the morning for when you need it. If you try to work out of it and not bag anything a head of time you may not get the output/quickness needed to keep up, depending on your ice needs.

It’s okay. If you plan to use indoors you need a safe place as the ice melts and spills water out on floor. If I did it again would get bigger capacity and something that freezes the ice afterwards.
