This thing is a machine! Relatively easy to set up and it really churns out the ice! Set up on the back patio and it was making ice definitely faster than we could use it. Not too loud and perfect for summer gatherings!

Overall this ice maker has performed very well... considering that it's priced WAY below most major brand ice makers. Now for details! The entire assembly and installation process took about three hours. Keep in mind I had a virtual perfect place for this to be installed. I wanted it in my heated and cooled garage... mainly to provide ice in the summer for drinks when we go to the ball field. Removing from the box and installing the legs was super easy. Removing the white vinyl from the stainless steel exterior is always a pain and this was no exception. My biggest complaint is about the included water filter and water line. This portion of the kit is very let's say um... cheap. Like cheaper than RV quality parts cheap. Luckily for me I didn't know that it came with a water line or filter so I ordered an ice maker specific water filter from Amazon when I ordered the ice maker. I'm glad I did as the included filter assembly leaked and was unusable. (see photo) Couple of things to know. The water inlet is 3/4 pipe thread. So you can pick up what you're going to need prior to installation. Other than that it was a relatively easy install. The machine also needs a drain... and it must be in the floor. One way around that is to purchase a condensate drain pump.... available right here on Amazon. Pick one up and then it will pump any condensate to a drain that is not at ground level. The machine says it will produce 100 lbs of ice in 24 hours... but note that it does not have 100 lbs capacity... it will hold likely about 20 lbs of ice in its bin. I've not noticed the unit being overly loud but you can hear water moving inside the unit. As the unit is installed in my garage that was not a concern for me. For the price point this is a great way to have a plentiful supply of ice for summer.

So this is replacing my older icemaker. It is built nicely and solid. Simple to hook up with minimal plumbing knowledge. The control panel is simple and to the point. Not confusing. My only complaint is the drain hose is quite short if you have to go a little distance and also if it breaks replacing it will be a pain. That being said don't let that sway you. My old one is 6 years old and the hose is drain hose is the exact same and has not shown any sign of breaking. However it is attached on the outside compared to internal on this one. The cubes are very dense and actually better than my old one as far as lasting. It progressivly makes ice faster as the compartment fills it helps chill the recirculating water hold and then the water freezes faster on the cube plate. This one is a better quality than my old on and much quieter than the old one too, like to thepoint I had to listen close to see if it was actually running. I like it alot and if any issues come up I will not hesitate to update this review.

Received this item and it does not work have everything hooked up and it will not make ice. Customer service will not help me and getting it returned is a pain in the butt considering live in a small town.

You need a place to run a little water line and a sewage line. We opted to put this on the other side of our sink so we could easily tie it into our sink's system. That being said, if you need a lot of ice for reasons - hunting, preserving, etc - this is a great solution. It's a simple setup, easy enough to keep clean and makes good ice. Definitely recommend. It took at least 30 min or more to finish its first tray of ice, and then 18 min or more the 2nd and so on. It’s bad that this brand has no videos anywhere online showing you how to properly use this Machine. The manual that it comes with ONLY has 1 page describing the function of this BUTTON control panel ice maker, the rests are mainly about another LCD control panel ice maker, I figured that out after I went crazy not seeing many icons showing on the manual. PLEASE NOTE: this machine doesn’t have timer function, in other words you can’t set a schedule for it to run and stop. It only has basic functions of POWER, MODE, CLEAN and SET. This ice machine is for BUTTON control panel not LCD control. Edited: After continuously using it for couple of days, I found out that it 1) not very efficient, takes long time to make ice 2) Ice always coming out wet, so I’ll have to leave them in my freezer for 30 min then separate them
