Great for parties, bars, and light commercial use. For peak rushes, we recommend storing extra ice in your freezer in advance. Will it fit under counters, and what water hookup is required? Yes! At 15.16"W x 15.75"D x 29.88"H, it fits standard under-counter setups (needs 30" height & 2" side clearance). It hooks up directly to a 1/2" male threaded faucet or water line - NOT compatible with water jugs, buckets, or external tanks! Is the noise annoying in open kitchens or home bars? The compressor runs quietly like a dishwasher. The primary sound is ice dropping into the bin every few minutes. Most users find it very manageable, but sensitive users can place it slightly away from main seating areas. Does ice melt overnight if left inside the storage bin? Yes. The bin is insulated but not refrigerated, so ice slowly melts and recycles back into fresh ice. For long-term storage or overnight keeping without melting, simply transfer extra cubes into a freezer. How do I set up the gravity drain without a floor drain? It uses gravity drainage, so the hose must run lower than the machine. Never buy ice bags again

I used to be the guy constantly running to the gas station for $5 bags of ice that just melt in the trunk. Not anymore. The Setup: Installation was surprisingly straightforward. It comes with the inlet and outlet hoses, so I just hooked it up in my garage. Quality: The ice comes out crystal clear, not that cloudy Storage: The 33lb bin is huge. The insulation is the real MVP here. I accidentally left it unplugged for a few hours while moving some furniture, and the ice was still solid thanks to that thick insulation layer. Also, it’s quiet. I was worried this unit would sound like a jet engine, but it’s a low hum that you barely notice once the music is on. The blue light that pops on when you open the lid is a nice touch, too—makes it feel high-end and helps when I’m grabbing a late-night glass of water in the dark. Pros: Produces a ton of ice (100lbs/day is plenty for home or a small cafe). It’s a heavy unit, so definitely have a spot picked out for it before you unbox it! Bottom Line: If you’re tired of the "ice run" or your fridge’s built-in maker just can’t keep up, this is worth every penny. Highly recommend for any home bar or small shop.

It’s a great purchase

We have spent so much money on ice. We have had this product for about two weeks now and by the end of the month it will have paid for its self. So far I am very pleased with it. We did buy the items needed to be hooked up like a fridge with water along with an independent drain line. My husband hooked it up himself. The ice size can be changed and it’s honestly not any louder than when a fridge kicks on.

A true Bang for your Buck!!

Taking out the ice is annoying with the little scooper provided so you will need to get your own that is bigger or use something bigger that’s it. We use it at a small business that runs 6days a week and it is amazing. It works great smaller then expected but works amazing and keeps ice cold without melting after a while like other brands. Has a refrigerator sound so it’s extremely minimal and when ice is produced that is also minimal nothing crazy loud. Definitely great item for what you’re paying.

Don't purchase... Total junk!!!

Garbage, dont buy. Lasted 2 weeks. It will do one ice cycle then continous E3 errors. Company will not answer customer service phone line or return emails. I'd give it a 0 star but 1 is the minimum.

It works but not 100lbs in 24 hours.

It does make ice. The ice is made in a sheet and when it slides out is should break but the seam between the cubes is so thick, no matter what setting I have it on, when the sheet falls down the cubes don’t break apart. You are left with poorly stacked sheets of ice that take up a lot of room. The machine also doesn’t make 100lbs of ice in 24 hours. It makes maybe 50 lbs tops. The ice scoop is useless because the ice is in sheets rather than cubs. I got this so I could have ice for an ice chest when I go out in the heat. It works for that but I wish the ice broke into pieces, and if it did, the bin would hold more ice. When you first turn it on, it takes it maybe 20 minutes before it starts the compressor to make is. I was worried it wasn’t going to work. Over all, it does make ice, not as much as they say it will. It isn’t loud, that’s a plus. I hope it lasts a few years.

Works well for ice to fill my water jugs for work.

Seems to work well from my experience. I'm a courier in new mexico and didn't have an ice maker because I didn't need one until my work ice maker went out and I couldn't get ice anymore for when I was riding in those hot trucks. This supplies plenty of ice for me to fill my water jugs and gives me plenty of ice for anything else such as filling a small cooler or using tons of ice for dinks if I wish. only issue I've had in the month I've had it was local hard water issues and nothing to do with the ice maker itself which was resolved by running vinegar and water through the machine. One note though, as with all ice makers if you don't open it and move the ice away from the tray that freezes the water it will further limit the amount of ice produced. like every ice maker out there ice will pile up closer to the drop and hold the full lever down with plenty of room left in the ice storage. hooked it up in my laundry room between my washer/dryer using a condensate pump for the waste water and a splitter from the washer line to the ice maker and works great. even with my slight modifications I had to do to my setup to get the ice maker hooked up the installation was easy and does everything I want it to do. if in the US doing the same it's just 3/4 in to 1/4 in adapter to hook the supplied lines to the machine, then a condensate pump to make sure the waste water goes out the washer drain, and a 1/2 in/3/8 in outer diameter line to run from the condensate pump into the washer drain. if doing this setup you might need to elevate it 6 inches or more to ensure the bottom is above the drain pump so it drains properly.
