. . .what is it with damaged packaging on large items like this? Who the heck ships a freezer with the bottom of the box completely missing/off of it? Freezer was dumped on our front stoop by UPS, upside down because bottom of box was missing. Fortunately, there was still a 2" piece of styrofoam strapped into place over the exposed end of the appliance. However, that had broken off in places and was probably an hour away from falling off completely. The freezer itself was not, fortunately, damaged. PROS: nice glass shelves make stacking products easier, more stabile. Door can be mounted to open either from right or left. Fast freezing - very solid. Freezer width/depth accommodates an impressive amount of products; wasn't sure if regular size pizza boxes would fit into it, but they do! Comes with mini ice tray and frost scraper. CONS: no temperature control. Freezes to one temperature; period. Only two leveling feet on the bottom; all 4 would have been desirable in our case. All-in-all, we like it more than the minor "cons" disappointments. ... show more

The unit arrived damaged and of course, didn’t learn until fully opened up the box. I plugged in the unit and after a long while, I placed a couple items to freeze over night. In the morning, I checked the freezer and the unit was running smoothly and the items were frozen. I have not decided if I’m keeping the unit simply because the dent is visible and I’d prefer to pay for an undamaged product but repackaging the freezer for exchange is such a hassle. I’ll se if I can live with the dent. Thankfully, the unit is working properly. Wish the transportation company had been more careful. ... show more

I received my order. I did everything that the instructions called for, and my unit is not working. The compressor sounds as if it wants to cool the unit, but this is day two, and it has not started cooling yet. I am going to reach out to the company, and possibly send it back. It is a nice design, light weight and looks good in my kitchen, but it just doesn’t work. I will let you know if anything changes and what the customer service says about it when I contact them. ... show more

We’ll I can say it arrived 3/4 out of the box with the cord dragging. Got me a little nervous about plugging it in. But so far so good. It is nice and cool. Ice cubes are frozen. There are a couple of ding s in it and the cord is a little nasty from being dragged. Crossing fingers won’t need to replace the cord anytime soon. ... show more
