I spent a solid 3 weeks looking at potentially every microwave on the Internet to find exactly what I was looking for. Black, door handle, small enough to fit on a mini fridge, powerful, and reasonably priced. This met every one of my needs. I was concerned with it being under 1000w that it wouldn't be powerful enough, but it heats up my food and drinks super fast and thoroughly. The noise level isn't any better or worse than other normal microwaves. If you're looking for something whisper quiet, this isn't it, but it's also not excessively loud. The buttons are easy to use, and the display was easy to ready for me. A full size dinner plate fits inside, and it is tall enough to fit a pint glass. Not sure why you'd need to put a pint glass in the microwave but you sure could if you wanted to. It's a sturdy little microwave and I love the way it looks with my other appliances. ... show more

    • A Decent Small Microwave with Some Annoyances

I recently purchased this compact microwave that seemed to tick most of the boxes for my needs. While it fits perfectly in the available space and handles basic heating tasks adequately, there are a few noteworthy aspects that have both impressed me and left me somewhat frustrated. One of the strong points of this microwave is its size. It fits snugly into the designated space, which is a relief considering the limited countertop real estate in my kitchen. When it comes to basic heating functions, the microwave proves to have sufficient power. It efficiently heats up simple dishes and has handled a couple of packages of frozen food with ease. So, in terms of functionality, it certainly meets my expectations for quick heating tasks. However, one significant drawback that I've encountered relates to the door release mechanism. Opening the microwave door requires an unexpectedly strong push. Because of the light weight of the unit it can slide on the counter if not against a wall. Not only does this inconvenience disrupt the overall user experience, but the design of the release is annoying. It doesn't push straight in, but rather at and angle toward the door opening. Watch your knuckles when in a hurry. Upon completing a heating cycle, the appliance emits a series of five loud beeps. While I appreciate the alert that my food is ready, I find this particular beeping sequence a bit excessive and somewhat obnoxious. What's more, once the heating cycle is done, the microwave doesn't continue to remind you at intervals that your food is ready, which could be helpful if you're not in the immediate vicinity. Aside from the door release and the beeps, this microwave is a reasonably good deal considering its price point. If you're willing to overlook these minor inconveniences for the sake of affordability and basic functionality, this microwave might just be a suitable choice. ... show more
