Great value and thickness for the price, compared to other similar bags. I have used these to collect some old roofing paper, and they have held up very well. They are still vulnerable to punctures from sharp pieces, but the thickness of the bags is above average.

Several people who reviewed these bags complained about them saying that the inside of these bags smelled. They said that the smell smelled like smoke and that the odor was severe. Those reviews caused me to hesitate about ordering these bags but I finally ordered them anyway. They arrived today and I opened them, removed one, pulled it open and smelled--expecting a dreadful, nauseating smell. But hooray! There was no spell whatsoever! So what are the other reviewers talking about when they talk about how terrible the insides of these bags smell? I have no idea. I smell absolutely nothing. Bigger, better, and stronger than any normal contractor bags. This is the perfect size and count so that they don't last longer than your lifetime. A pack of ten takes care of a move or a child going off to college. A must for after parties.

My dad passed and step mom sold my house and his business where I worked with a fast closing, I had to move in a hurry - 35 years worth of stuff - Really so much even my kids stuff- trophys, rotc uniforms, gradations, baby stuff- just so much stuff! I ended up with 30 of these bags to the garbage man. 7 full bags to thrift shops, a few to the library and 20 to my next home. These babys saved the day - of course I bought multiple packs and would buy again - they are really big and quite strong as some of those bags were over 50 pounds. Only thing I would add is longer flap ties as when full its hard to tie them with the short ties and I ended up using wire around and around for a strong close ... show more

Thick, sturdy bags that hold a large volume. However, there is a strong burnt odor on the inside of the bags. I was using this for trash and recycling items so the odor did not matter to me. If you plan to use these to store clothing or other items, I do recommend against these for that purpose.

    • Heavy duty professional grade bags with NO gross burnt plastic odor

great thick heavy duty bags for serious work, and they don't have a funky burnt plastic odor like some heavy duty bag brands do. i use these for spring yard cleanup and getting rid of fall outdoor decor, like corn stalks, old pumpkins, and small straw bales. everything fits in there neatly, even the straw bales, and there's no leakage. no nasty rotten pumpkin juice in the back of my Subaru, haha. they won't take razor-sharp items without ripping, but twigs, sticks, old plants, all that kind of thing stuffs in the bags fine without tearing. you can fit a LOT in these bags without them ripping. i'm not sure how much weight it holds, but it's a lot. way more than the average household black or white trash bag. they're a little costly, but they're sure worth the convenience. anyone who's tried using standard trash bags for outdoor work knows the frustration when one little rip turns into a huge gash, and all the stuff spills back out onto the lawn or sidewalk, ugh. love these beauties, they're the only plastic bags i trust for my heavy duty work. ... show more
