I have used this brand for over 10 years for many different applications. What I have learned is that it depends on what you are hanging as to how long it will stay up. For example I have pictures that are still on the wall from about 10 years ago. Also really pay attention to the weight of the item you are using this with. My mirrors have been up for 2 months now , IT IS NOT FOR HEAVY ITEMS AS LISTED. It holds my Walmart $8 mirrors up with no effort but a 10lbs picture , it does not.

I really like these command strips, however if you want to get up to 16 lbs, you have to use four pairs (so eight total) which I feel like is a lot. Regardless, they work well and hold my pictures up nicely. I would definitely recommend these.
