this works well, however the cap at the top, that the handle goes thru sometimes comes unscrewed when backing the spindle out. loctite or threadlocker would probably help.

Easy to clean
I use this to clay caulk my molds for concrete countertops. one fill of the tube will give you a 1/4 bead about 8 feet long. It's fast and convenient. I haven't tried any of the other adapters. Your clay needs to be quite moist or it will dome and push out the circular metal shaping piece.

I’m still a beginner on cake-baking and when I got a request for a basketball cake I was so glad to have purchased this! It saved me from having to roll out uneven fondant by hand. Cheaply made, no Response on Fixes
I love using this tool but a few things were wrong with it. First, the threaded rod broke off from the dish it was attached to, but a little epoxy fixed that. Next, the small silicone O-ring around the end of the pusher was broken in two pieces when it arrived, and after a few uses, would not stay in place. It still works, but the groove where it sat just fills up with clay and has to be cleaned out. I tried to find a replacement in local hardware stores and on Amazon, without luck. I presume the manufacturer is in China, and cannot be reached and Amazon has not responded. ... show more

I have used this with my Sculpey III polymer clay. Soften your clay first and it goes through the smallest holes easily. Easy to use and clean after use. Would highly recommend.

MUST THREADLOCK
Overall quality is questionable. It sure looks nice but make sure you use thread lock on the shaft. Wife spun it down till it bottomed out and I had to use channel locks and pliers to get it back apart chewing up the body in the process. The T handle kept spinning back off the threaded rod. I put blue thread lock and let it sit overnight. All is well aside from the now chewed up body and the burrs. ... show more
