This review is for the Comfytemp Red Light Therapy Belt with APP & Button Dual-Controlled, Red & Infrared Light. I'm pretty familiar with LED light therapy devices. My wife had cancer and went through a lot of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. She currently has a red therapy helmet for her hair to stimulate hair growth and a red therapy light for her face and hands. This therapy belt is a well-made product. You can see it in the quality of the materials and the precision of the stitching. There are no rough edges or shoddy workmanship. The inside of the belt has a plastic covering over the LEDs. If you are using a high power setting and generate enough heat to sweat a little, it's simply a matter of wiping the plastic down. No absorbing sweat in a cloth material. The rest of the belt is a smooth material and is tightened around the waist or other body part using a Velcro-type material. The unit is powered by AC through a standard transformer. The cord length is 6 feet but a 10 foot cord would have been a little nicer. There are two ways to operate the unit: 1. Two physical buttons on the belt itself - There is a power button to turn the unit on and off and set the power level. There is also a mode button to select the type of therapy - Relieve Fatigue, Relieve Pain, Wound Healing, Reduce Inflammation and Recovery+. The color of the buttons change to indicate what mode and power level you're at. You'll have to read the instruction sheet to know which color is associated with which mode. That's why I prefer the App over the physical buttons. 2. App - Download the App and pair it with the therapy belt. It's pretty easy to do and shouldn't be a problem setting it up for most people. The App is simple and very straightforward. Just click on the power button, click on the type of therapy, set the time duration and intensity and off you go. There's a single screen for everything and explaining it is harder than actually using it. Very intuitive. Good job on the design! I've used the belt 4 times since I got it. I've only used it on my back for pain relief and fatigue. You can definitely feel some improvement after using it a few times. It's not the type of device that gives you dramatic improvement overnight. It's something that will improve your condition if used over a period of time. I haven't used it on my knees, thighs, etc. so I can't speak to those issues. Overall, this is a great product that I can easily recommend.

This is comfortable to wear and I like the settings it offers. It does have an app to make changing settings easier. You can use it without the app by pressing the M button to cycle through the settings and the power button to cycle through the intensity. On the app, you can adjust the timer. It can be adjusted from 5-30 minutes in 5 minute increments. You can also change the intensity of each function, making the lights dimmer or brighter. This is plastic so when you first put it on it’s so cold! Just a warning. My skin does get warm after about 10 minutes, but not sweaty from the heat. I do feel a little sweaty after about 20 minutes but I think that’s more from the plastic than from the lights. It’s adjustable and comfortable to wear. I use this after workouts and notice it does help with recovery and my skin isn’t looking as lumpy. At this point I’m not sure if the light helps that or if it’s from the more intense workouts I’m doing lately, but I’ll take it!

This is sha-mazing! There is so much to love about this belt. First of all it heats up really well and very quickly. There is a guide that tells you what color to use for heat levels (low, medium and high) and the mode button gives you five levels of relief for: fatigue, pain, wound healing, anti-inflammation and recovery. I have used the high mode primarily with pain and anti-inflammation. It does not completely remedy the pain however I am in considerably less pain after using this, and thus far I have only used it a few times. So let me go over the belt itself. It is of great material and of course has the red light therapy side that goes directly against your skin. The belt has two buttons (power button for the heat levels) and the mode button. The belt is a good size (again, I am 5’2” and weigh 128 pounds), so it fits me extremely well. The belt comes with an attachment cord that plugs into the wall and my only complaint (which is minor) is I would like a cord that is a bit longer, but other than that the belt is wonderful. It also comes with instructions if you wish to download the app to your phone, so that way you don’t have to keep looking directly at the buttons on the belt to change the mode and heat levels. I did investigate the comments regarding using the app and they were not favorable, as many customers stated they had issues with the app, so I chose not to use it. One downside to not using the app is you cannot automatically set the time length, so without the timer the belt will shut off after 30 minutes, which is fine with me since I will just reset the buttons as I normally use this for at least an hour. Overall I think this is a great purchase and my acupuncturist also stated this will help alleviate my back pain. I would highly recommend this for anyone who has pain, inflammation or any form of injury as it does help, and for the price I think this is well worth the money, therefore I declare this is a total winner.

I use a wearable heating pad daily for back pain and my acupuncturist uses red light during my treatments. This red light therapy belt seems to be made well and is easy to operate. I did not use the app as I already have too many apps. The belt does not require using the app and it's easy to figure out without it. The outside of the belt is soft and the velcro can be adjusted for individual size. The inside of the belt, that touches the skin, is plastic. Like clear plastic that gets hot and sweaty. I did not like the feeling of the plastic against my skin so wore it over a thin shirt. This belt does heat up pretty quickly. It didn't get as hot as a heating pad but it was warm to the touch and warmed my skin. Keep in mind that this belt needs to be plugged in. So you're stuck in one spot near an outlet while using this red therapy belt. I can't tell if I had any benefits from it's use. I don't care for it due to the harsh plastic, mild heat temperatures and requirement to be plugged into a wall outlet.
